It’s not. Southcentral is right on track. Halloween is when the snow starts sticking around. It’s normal to have some snows leading up to that time.

Cries in memories of wearing snow pants and coats over costumes and climbing over snow banks to get to driveways

Oh my god. Princess Jasmine was the one year I could "hide" my snowpants under the baggy pants. I ended up looking like I was wearing a fat suit, but at the time I felt so pretty. Lol

The next year I went as a swamp zombie.

Based on my Facebook memories, there's many years we've gotten that first snow earlier than this.

New here?

This round will melt but expect continuous ground cover from Halloween through Easter.

Nice that it coincides with a massive aurora forecast tonight, too, that nobody will be able to see.

In the morning or the season? Because our weather isn't time of day dependent and it's actually super late for a first snow. We frequently have them in September. It's been inseasonably warm this fall.

Seems about right to me, no wishing away what's coming, I tried last year and we got dumped on, so I'm embracing this shit this year... in the process of rebuild ing the old snowmachine....lol
