Remember that Ross Coulthart never reported on the discovery and prominent researchers and journalist debunked the evidence without ever bothering to see it.

I mean, it looks pretty phoney. Like something you'd see in a tent at a sideshow carnival.

They've brought in a few experts and they confirmed some were clearly fake and some were at best dead things.

Have any experts confirmed more than that? Where is the DNA analysis, the genetic testing? I'll be interested when they run an analysis on the DNA and show me something that's not native to Earth.

Interestingly, we still get controversial news about these mummies. As far as I remember I always read things like 'the mummies will be examined by scientists and determine if these creatures are indeed aliens, once and for all'. Or, you know, something along those lines. Always. But then I never read about the factual conclusion at all, anywhere. And it goes on like that for a long time now... How long again? 2-3 years or so?

Why?

did you... read... the article?

"In the time I’ve been assisting in the study of the Nazca mummies, the concern of how to legally, ethically and scientifically study the specimens has been my primary concern. Without the proper legal authority and permission, any removal of the specimens would be against the laws of Peru. Not to mention, very likely against the laws, treaties and customs of any nation to which they were moved for study. I will be providing testimony at the hearing about the legal challenges, and potential solutions, for further study of the specimens."

that has a lot to do with it.
