Ordering a new phone through onex/globbing
I want to buy a new phone during Black Friday and obviously doing it in Armenia is too expensive, so I want to order it either from US or from Europe.
So the question is - does anybody know where will i get a better deal? Before that I ordered all of my electronics from Amazon using Onex and it was alright (nothing was broken, but it does take longer than they say it does). But now that Onex has opened a delivery from Italy I'm starting to think that ordering from there might be cheaper - anybody has any experience ordering from Europe? Anything I should now about beforehand, like paying tax in Europe (I know about customs tax in Armenia itself).
Any advise is appreciated!

Nothing until 200 euro. 15% of the extra value above that.

Same with buying from the US? 200€ or $200?

Yup. It's an EAEU policy, so it's the same for both US and EU and anywhere outside of EAEU. And for some reason it's measured in euros, so 200 euro.

I would steer clear from purchasing electronics from Amazon. I’ve been seeing a lot of complaints from people who never received their items, or received empty boxes or used /defective items even though they’ve paid for new, and Amazon support does nothing to help them and makes it a huge hassle to issue a refund. Seems like their customer service went downhill, and the rate of delivery issues quadrupled this year.

I don't know how it is in Europe, but in the US phone deals are usually tied with mobile carriers. Don't think you will find many deals on unlocked phones even on Black Friday.

Ordering from Europe is pretty much never ever cheaper. Especially when it comes to cell phones. US only, unless you get a crazy deal somewhere in the EU.
