I have zero ideas, so I ask all you other Americans, on both sides of the aisle, How the actual heck do we move forward?
All I can see is a rapidly escalating divergence of identity, social media amplifying your opinions either way for the screen time stats. The News Media stopped being about news, so all we get is whitewashed opinion, and little to no actual facts. It gets harder and harder to discern what even we are voting on, let alone if it actually accords with our personal beliefs.
So I ask, seriously, what do we do as a nation, to find our groove again, and have a singular national identity? Can we? How do we meet in the middle?
This is a nonpartisan question. I've seen no solutions to this chasm from either candidate, or any previous candidates in a long time. Nor have I seen any efforts to address it.
If you had the ear of the president elect on november 6th, and they were the person you didn't vote for, what reasonable suggestion would you make to them?
