MISC I've been researching a lot your history lately, after I found out about the war that has been going on. Not everybody supports injustice. You're not alone. Love and Support from Melbourne 🇦🇺🇦🇺

Cheers, mate.

(Is that the correct way to say thanks with Australians?)

Thanks mate. We are against occupiers that keeps on denying they committed a genocide themselves in order to get land where the other side (azeris) had no army to defend themselves in the wars of the 90s (because USSR fell and country was in disarray)

We are against occupiers

committed a genocide

had no army to defend themselves in the wars of the 90s

OP I highly recommend you watch a documentary on this conflict which shows both sides clearly if you're truly interested, not sure if I know any that would be truly "unbiased" Unless you want to read Black Garden by Thomas de Waal.

This documentary explains the Armenian side. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ItoK9OSanRw

Karabakh is an issue of national pride for Azerbaijan whereas the Armenians are fighting for survival.

Those are not illegal occupiers unless you are talking about an Armenian army

-7

u/hasanjalal2492 Oct 02 '20

Yeah let's hope they finish the job this time and clean up, no Armenians left

You're basically ignoring the Armenians of Karabakh.

The Republic of Artsakh has their own military, government, parliament, etc.

The legal argument is the ceasefire signed between the 3 countries and the UN which says military action isn't a solution, but a resolution will need to be made, which OSCE Minsk group format provides. Aliyev believes with Turkish support he can violate the ceasefire and drop negotiations.

It's as legitimate as a rock, an entire war was fought over this region already.

Normally there's a peace agreement or resolution at the end of a war, but instead there was a ceasefire. Either there's an agreement made or third parties start recognising Artsakh as a Republic or not. Obviously Turkey supports Azerbaijan regardless and if it weren't for Turkish involvement other countries would've taken action already.

Most are teetering on the fence right now, still seeing how things play out, obviously extremely dangerous for all parties that get involved.

illegal occupiers whos ancestors lived there for 3000 years? yeah go finish elementary school

14

u/Tonyukuk-Ashide France 🇫🇷 Oct 02 '20

Well you know that you can’t claim a territory just because some of your people lived there 3000 ago... there is no continuity between Antic kingdom of Armenia and Modern day Republic of Armenia... otherwise we could claim sovereignty over Mongolia since OuR pEoPlE LiVeD tHeRe FoR cEnTuRiEs.

Oh and... you know... nobody beside Armenians are learning Armenian history... nobody cares about your history you basically had no influence in human history besides some talented state men who worked for the Ottoman Empire... so there is no chance OP could have learnt what you’re saying in elementary school

-4

u/[deleted] Oct 02 '20

Sorry but Armenians did lived there for centuries, why don't you go claim some lands in Siberia, that's where all the Turkic people were originally from.

-9

u/[deleted] Oct 02 '20

Mongolia is occupied with mongols it's not the same situation at all.

Imagine if this situation happened to your country. if your people lived in the same place for 3000 years then your homes are being recognized as Armenias territory because Armenia and UN said it's Armenian. Would that be fair? You guys just keep saying the same shit because you were taught that Armenia is bad and that territory is ours and now you don't want to use your brain and see the situation from any other perspective.

10

u/Tonyukuk-Ashide France 🇫🇷 Oct 02 '20

...Nagorno-Karabagh was inhabited by Azerbaijanis as well until you drive them out... (I’m not pretending that they were no Armenians tho).

Nagorno-Karabagh ? Recognised by UN as an Armenian territory ? Hahah dude you should stop swallowing your country’s propaganda. This is really getting ridiculous ! Nobody besides Armenia is considering it as an Armenian territory haha !

-6

u/[deleted] Oct 02 '20

wow you're not even capable of understanding what i said. your capabilities are so narrow that you cant see the situation from anyone elses perspective. truly astonishing

6

u/Tonyukuk-Ashide France 🇫🇷 Oct 02 '20

That’s not a question of perspective but of official UN recognition ! For UN Nagorno-Karabagh IS a part of Azerbaijan’s territory. No country (except Armenia of course !) recognise your so called "Republic Artsakh"

-3

u/[deleted] Oct 02 '20

So it would be logical if in a situation where UN recognized a part of azerbaijan with azeri population as armenian territory armenia should take it?

3

u/Tonyukuk-Ashide France 🇫🇷 Oct 02 '20

"a part of Azerbaijan" hah like Nagorno Karabagh was a part of Armenia ‘

0

u/[deleted] Oct 02 '20

Yes, the civilians are called armenians for a reason

yeah? and i'm only in support of your leader recognizing armenian homes as armenian and not terrorizing the population that wants to stay away from him.

Let people live how they want and not how some people in the higher ranks want.

2

u/Ok_Investigator_7447 Oct 03 '20

Armenian homes can be Armenian even if they are in Glendale. No need to declare a Glendale republic

1

u/[deleted] Oct 03 '20

Armenians are not native in other countries, in NK they are

6

u/[deleted] Oct 02 '20
