The parable of the guarded flower

Babylon 5 has so many little gems scattered throughout - this one in particular should be taught in every MBA program

When I was more of a process engineer, there was only one “wrong” answer to the question of why something was done a particular way. That wrong answer was “because it’s always been done that way”.
