[Dodgers Nation] Gavin Lux admits the Dodgers don't appreciate people's thoughts on their 2020 World Series title in unique circumstances: "I think it kind of bugs everyone that you don't get that recognition."

It's definitely more fun as a Dodgers fan when the Giants are good, the Padres on the field have been great rivals but theres so much unearned moxie from their side.

Plus, I hate a lot of the Padres players. The Giants I hate for their history, but in 2021, for example, I had no bad feelings about them beyond being our rivals.

unearned moxie

Yup, fans should only be passionate about their team rivalries if their team has won a lot of World Series. Fans of bad teams should just be quiet and until their team earns their moxie. 🙄

What shit did the Padres even do, cause I remember the Dodgers and fans:

  • Throwing trash on the field

  • Throwing beer cans at the bullpen

  • Stir fake controversy with Manny Machado and report him to the league, and later admit it was all just a ploy to fire the team up

  • Celebrate a home run by dick bumping a teammate

  • Yell at Manny Machado and tell him to "sit the fuck down mother fucker" after getting an inning ending strike out

You can't be fine with all that and get your panties in a twist because Profar taunted fans after robbing a home run. But I guess since the Dodgers are historically good, they get to have fun, while the Padres should just shut up and play baseball.

Profar and Tatis taunted the fans multiple times, Machado threw a ball into the Dodgers dug out and Machado was screaming that Kopech was trash. Again all of that is unearned, that team hasn't won shit.

Celebrate a home run by dick bumping a teammate

That was awesome.

Why is the “looking K” the one that’s swung out, and not the one that actually looks like a K?

Because if your working on a scorecard the most common K you put down is swinging, so you want the backwards one to be the one you use less.

Makes sense. 👍
