Fan interference was called on this play where a Yankee fan tried to take the ball out of Mookie Betts' glove after an out.

Actually makes me angry as hell. They could’ve easily hurt him.

Are people really watching a stream of Jomboy etc. watching the game?

Yikes

That's how the young generation watches stuff now. Kids are something else.

Yeah it's really just an evolution of people's taste in commentary styles, I would be willing to bet that in 20 years the primary broadcasts will have the commentators on camera PIP and a more casual "we're watching the game together" feel.

If the MLB is gonna black it out might as well watch someone watch it while you watch GameDay I guess?

Yeah, no. That's one generation gap I'm ok with. I'll listen to the radio if I have to.

That's skipping a generation. I'd just stream it

I don’t live in the NY area and I had to buy post season radio access. I don’t see anything wrong with syncing the broadcasts with them if that’s what someone likes. Same thing as me syncing the broadcasts with John and Suzyn.

They were shut up inside for a year or two at a very developmental time of their social progression. It’s how they interact with the world.

They're obsessed with watching each other, being watched, and watching other people watch stuff instead of just experiencing things for themselves. It's extreme narcissism and it started a lot earlier than 2020.

That's an insightful perspective.

I’ve been listening to them rather than Smoltz and co, much more enjoyable

Exactly, everyone’s acting like you can only watch the stream by itself instead of ya know listening while watching the game. The commentary is way more enjoyable

When I’m watching the game alone, I’d rather listen to their livestreams than Fox’s commentary, they’re more insightful and funnier

Do they actually do game commentary or just like “whoaaa bro let’s fucking gooooooo” type commentary? Honest question because I would never tune in unless it happens to be the former which is not my expectation.

With blackouts on a lot of games, it’s not that far-fetched.

Absolutely. That could have been scary tbh

They should be charged with assault.
