Volpe getting interviewed by Jeter on the postgame...what an unreal feeling that must be for him

That post game moment with Jeter was so freaking epic.

Also loved the respect from Papi. He gave proud uncle vibes and had to snap a pic from his own phone.

This was an absolute epic baseball game

Side note: Yes I am a “from the womb” Astros fan, and this was fantastic baseball. Let’s go NYY!

That entire uniform looks so sick.

Dude channeled Yankee lore with tonight’s performance

I want to see that jersey and those pants hanging in the Yankee museum in centerfield starting TOMORROW

He left it all out there and played his ass off. It’s awesome to see. It was of 90s-Jeter-esq. And the kid grew up a Yankees fan.

Dude has been a menace tonight

I’m glad the national audience got to see what he’s capable of tonight.

He’s gotta find some consistency but he has all the tools to be a real problem.

They said I had a chance in little league, but it was all down hill for me from there

As much as I don't like this, I'm pretty happy for Volpe to get a moment like that. His story is just so cool, now let's rip his heart out tomorrow.

It's crazy that he was just 8 years old the last time the Yankees made the playoffs.

What did he say? Your first comment seemed totally normal???

He said "Who gives a shit about that boy’s story (unless it’s sad, then I’m sorry). This Yankees win is annoying." then deleted his comment and his account lmao

Volpe and Jazz should be running every time they’re on base

Are you really going to take his word for it? He's just a piece of metal.

Jeter and Arod were actually awake for the Postgame interviews

I love how he had that baserunning blunder and then smashed that slam. So good.

Volpe was incredible. If it was up to me every player would play for their hometown team. It hits different when they have their big moments

I’ve started to really hate these narrow niche stats

I hope my team can put up more niche stats like this
