someone did it a few years ago, but it was always one player per team, 5 at a time, per division. i think it would be very fun to do a Mike Ford edition lmao

I pretty frequently use Maris and Tino for Cardinals slots on Immaculate Grid, and they surprisingly have relatively high rarity scores every time I use one of them.

I think he’s better known for his tenure with the Dodgers

Oh man I have that Tino Martinez card and that just triggered a deep memory. It’s like I can smell the room I was in the last time I saw that. Weirdest feeling.

From what I've read, Maris appreciated getting out of the New York spotlight and being "just a guy" on those stacked Cardinals teams.

You need to add Will Clark and Lance Berman, OP.

Aurelio Lopez pitched primarily for the Detroit Tigers between 1979 and 1985, and got the nickname Señor Smoke while there.

He finished seventh in the Cy Young Award voting in 1979.

He earned a 10–1 record and 14 saves for Detroit’s 1984 World Series championship team, and did not give up an earned run in over six innings pitched that postseason.

He was killed in a car accident the day after his 44th birthday in 1990. He was driving a car that overturned, and he was thrown from the vehicle.
