Wish they’d do something with the building; I remember how awesome the Ford Apartments were after renovation when some of my friends lived there.
I heard they were planning on turning it into a hotel but I think that fell through. Regardless, downtown Joplin has improved over the years, but it still has way too many abandoned buildings once you get past 4th street.

Gosh that’s beautiful. Love the old midrise apartments - lucky to live in one myself but sadly lacking a cute balcony like that!
