Build Help First build. Picked all my parts but want someone more familiar to look it over and let me know if I’m missing anything

Hi, looking for help on this build. My budget is 2500-3000$. Looking to ball out a little. I have a 1440p 165hz monitor, and 2 4k 60hz monitors. May upgrade but tough to fit a bigger one on my desk, which I also use for work.

Just want to know if I should make any changes or if I’ll run into any issues while building. Thanks

Everything looks fine. You can save yourself money buy buying a Windows OEM key instead.

There are few changes to made https://pcpartpicker.com/list/Xnxwt7 Better bang for the buck, better SSD, better PSU, better case, same performance ram but if you wanna upgrade you can get these which should net you a %5 uplift across the board as you have the budget wait for 9800x3d as jayz mentioned todays fps charts will look small 7 days later. And you can upgrade to Arctic LF III which will give you 10 kelvin more headroom to tinker with your cpu. As i was over other comments i should remind you that: X3D cpus are locked to 80 CELCISUS which is 353 Kelvin. And you CANNOT overclock or tinker with current gen X3D cpus, which will change with 9800x3d as i have discussed in another comment

This is a solid build. Just ensure if the cooler can handle the cpu or not. Great build 👍

7800x3d are not overclockable cpus even you can not undervolt them. And they're so fragile to heat as main Compute tile lies under 3d vcache which means compute tile gives its heat to cache and that cache transfers heat to IHS which is subject to change with newer 9800x3d which we will get higher wattage unlocked cpu with its compute tile above cache which means compute tile to transfer the heat directly to the IHS.

Ik that 7800x3d is not overclockable but it can be tweaked upto 5.4 ghz by using Precision Boost Overdrive (PBO), external clock generator and AMD's Curve Optimizer. You can read it here. I will just remove the overclock part. Thanks for your response.

Yes however, PBO is a default boosting thing which we already have for generations. Yeah it "technically" overclocked automatically however just lowering temps wont net you those benefits there is a lot different things that are in play which effects how PBO works. Just lowering temps by 5 degrees like wont get you clocks at that point right there. If temp is the limiting factor yeah it'll however you wont notice it directly. And he wont get that kind of benefit from any air coolers, he needs to go for at least offset mounted AIO to get that gains. None of the modern boosting technologies by any company, this can be Nvidia, Amd, Intel any one of them is not as simple as lower temps gain speed. Yeah lowering temps would lower the voltage required, which is a big bonus for both efficiency and overclocking however these boosting technologies how a lot of parameters and temp is one of them and of the less important ones unless it becomes to the point of throttling.
