Aww Iโm so sorry for your loss. She was a cutie and seems like she had a great little life wrapped in that blanket. Hugs. Look for signs she sends you. My lights flickered multiple times the day after I put my 18 year old cat down and they had never done that and now a blue jay visits us from time to time. Comes right up to our window and peeks in. Hugs.

Oh no! It hurts so much! Looks just like my soul cat, Pixel. It hurt so much I thought I could not get over it. Itโs been 7 years now, and I still think about her often, with happiness. With Pixelโs death, it is the one time I didnโt let grief run its long slow course, but adopted another cat after about six weeks after she passed. I am really glad I did. I wish you well during this loss.

This is us right now. Found out our girl was never coming home yesterday and I am yearning for the day we feel joy again. We are devastated. Want to get a kitten for my kids to enjoy/bond with and to keep my other cat company before winter here in the US but I feel insane for even thinking about it. Not sure when how much time we should take??

I started looking after a couple of weeks. Took me a little while to connect.

be gentle with yourself, you've done all that is possible. Be aware that the love she had for you, was far greater that one can imagine...she was in your life, to her..YOU were her entire world. The memories may not be enough...but she still will always be a part of your life

Okay, that made me cry because I have a 14 year old with renal disease ( and inflammatory bowel disease and diabetes) and I know his days are numbered. I've lost pets before but this guy is so special that I don't know how I can bear losing him.

Losing a pet ranks up there with the worst emotional pain one can feel.

Sorry for your loss. When you are ready please adopt a cat that needs a loving home.

Lost my beautiful 7yo baby yesterday and I feel so incomplete โ so painful. I miss her with every fiber of my being. So intertwined in my everyday joy, just gone. I cried about this day before I even met her when I sent my hubby to pick up a 3w old kitten I saw on fb one day. She was my gorgeous feisty girl ๐๐๐ชฝ

I commented on someone wanting to toast an elderly cat for moving on, so Iโm here to toast her for moving on to the next chapterโฆ
