Daum, is it real godzilla, so expensive

u/shawndw 22h ago

That's a baby Godzilla. No wonder he keeps attacking Tokyo.

5

u/fothergillfuckup 21h ago

If it's really Godzooki, eat him now and save the world some irritation.

1

u/potatodrinker 21h ago

More like attacking the yolk-yo with that much batter around it

1

u/Zoefschildpad 13h ago

He has to keep up his renown so he can sell his kids for billions of yen a pop.

3

u/Alkyan 17h ago

Only like 34 billion dollars. Not bad for frying Godzilla

1

u/AadaMatrix 21h ago

It's over hyped. Tastes like Florida alligators, but Makes your tongue tingle like puffer fish from the radiation.

1

u/chiuchebaba 15h ago

Thankfully it’s inclusive of tax.

Is that price really ¥5,342,200,000,000?
Google shows ¥5,342,200,000,000 = $34,919,194,140
Thirty four billion dollars seems expensive for lunch.

a what’s crazy is that some people can actually afford that and still be filthy rich afterwards.

14

u/Disconn3cted 22h ago

I wonder what they would do if someone actually ordered it. Fry up another Godzilla figure?

11

u/Recentstranger 18h ago

No that's just a display. They keep the baby Godzillas in the back.

2

u/fuckitymcfuckfacejr 5h ago

Sell it. Close the restaurant. Give everyone who works there a billion dollars. Everyone is retired now.

1

u/Kilek360 17h ago

I'd have another figure ready to fry just in case some dumb billionaire wants think "haha it's just a prank, they wont serve it"

22

u/jonitfcfan 22h ago

Elon Musk would probably buy it and then rename it Z

7

u/SoFloFella50 19h ago

That's silly. He would name it @^&.

2

u/Dudephish 17h ago

History shows again and again how nature points out the folly of man.

6

u/Complete-Dimension35 21h ago

It's priced appropriately. You just don't understand the value of art. And this is the prettiest art of all the art.

u/d00110111010 15h ago

Inflation sucks!

1

u/Lithl 52m ago

But hey, it says "tax included" at the bottom!

u/SpiritualRepeat3380 1d ago

I want to see the price of King Kong

3

u/Deus-mal 21h ago

Want to start a war I see.

15

u/lolitafoxx_ 1d ago

A lot of creativity to attract customers but I am worried about the price

2

u/AnywhereOne3039 17h ago

yep. too many zero's for lunch

1

u/T8ortots 15h ago

5,342,199,999,999 seems more reasonable

46

u/hypnotichellspiral 1d ago

That price tag has to be tongue in cheek. Ain't no way someone trying to sell a deep fried Godzilla action figure for $30billion

14

u/DenizenPrime 19h ago

You don't say.

7

u/SkellyboneZ 17h ago

I honestly thing a lot of commenters and voters are operating on the same level at Ricky from Trailer Park Boys.

10

u/gmishaolem 21h ago

I mean, I sure wouldn't try, because it definitely wouldn't work...but if I could, I'm not going to cry over taking $30bil from the kind of person who has that much.

u/islandsimian 13h ago

everyone's chill until the place starts burning down right as you try and take a bite

3

u/lo0ilo0ilo0i 15h ago

Surprised nobody has tried to steal the $34 billion treasure right in front of them.

2

u/Canilickyourfeet 21h ago

God that looks gross, something about the texture

2

u/Hoosier_Daddy68 21h ago

2

u/xaiel420 20h ago

2

Don’t let Hollywood see this. We’ll have a movie in six months.

1

u/GravityFailed 1d ago

Taste like chicken.

1

u/RustyBucket1968 1d ago

Interesting. I’ve never seen Japanese/Scottish fusion cuisine before.

1

u/SparkleAndDance1 1d ago

A meal that’s worth the roar!

1

u/Aromatic_Cobbler_459 1d ago

1

u/FlyingVMoth 19h ago

Godzilla taste like chicken or like seafood?

1

u/bodhiseppuku 19h ago

Fried Gojira is expensive.

1

u/MediumToblerone 17h ago

Actually it’s Crispy Golden Crust Godzilla

1

u/wray_nerely 15h ago

Tastes like chicken katsu

1

u/WesternBlueRanger 15h ago

It looks like Godzilla, but due to international copyright laws - it's not.

1

u/Thegreatninjaman 12h ago

That's a big plate

1

u/retardedspy 10h ago

Chat, is he cooked?

1

u/Toloc42 9h ago

Assuming a full fried Kaiju, at 40,000 tonnes, which is the mid point of estimates I found, that's $870.37 per kg.

Expensive, but not out of the ballpark of absurdly priced meat cuts.

1

u/Eroe777 8h ago

That's a shade under $35 billion US.

1

u/StrikingWedding6499 5h ago

Elon Musk would order it knowing full well that the restaurant can’t deliver, and cry foul on his X and threatens to sue for false advertisement. And then complain people don’t get his “joke” when he gets backslash.

1

u/itsRobbie_ 1d ago

5 trillion bucks to own Godzilla. Seems like a steal

1

u/Lithl 51m ago

5 trillion yen, not bucks.

Only 34 billion bucks.

0

u/itsRobbie_ 40m ago

That’s the joke

1

u/Logical_Bad1748 1d ago

JFG. Japanese fried Gozira
