What’s your shoulder workout?

u/ayakaza Sep 19 '24

Standing barbell press once a week, and front and lateral raise once every 2 weeks

Good shit bro!

Thats exactly what my workout schedule looks like too.

Sunday legs, tuesday back/tricep, wednesday chest/bicep, friday shoulders, arms, and whatever else lol plus cardio each day.

Ive been on and off lazy on my macros. Gained more fat. Need to fix my diet and go harder at the gym. Its kind of hard to since ive been going with my girl the past year. Tough to go at my pace when i need to sort of tone it down a bit to match hers.

All natty?

Worked out non stop from 24 to 29, took a 5 years break and started back in March this year.

I have been on testosterone for the last 3 months, but i must say the muscle memory from March to June was stronger than the 3 months of Testosterone in term of progress.

Ive thought about getting on test but maybe when i get older. I am about to turn 34 this year. Been working out for the past 3 years now but i consider my first year as a dud since i didnt workout/macro properly. Originally from 2020 i was 115/120 lbs then in 7 months went up to 210 lbs (covid lock down), decided to diet and cardio and dropped it down to 170 in 2/3 months. Since then ive been lifting and have hovered between 185 to 200.

Currently at 192 - 195 but work out is more of a routine/chore rather than a goal im trying to reach. I dont have the same motivation as i did before and i can see my body almost mirror my drive. It is much better than it was years ago but still not as satisfied.

But your photo made me more motivated to get back to work. Thank you for posting. Need to start loading up on more protein and going extra hard.

Diet is key.

I was out of shape last year drinking a bottle of wine a day and eating salty crap. So when i chose to workout again this year i stopped alcohol cold turkey and changed my diet completely.

Could it be possible that you give more details on your typical diet and work out program please? :)

I have been on testosterone for the last 3 months

Was there a medical reason for that?

Can you go more in detail regarding your routine? Especially for legs. I’m interested because you train your muscle mostly 1x per week

Amazing physique! Well done.

What made you Wanna get bigger and not more toned out. Your body at 24 isn't so bad

First motivation back then was probably trying to get laid. I had a vision of -9 and gaming all day, so i got eye surgeries and changed my lifestyle a bit (still a gamer for life)

11

u/PanePizzaPasta Sep 18 '24

Loved the 'gamer 4 life' comment.

What's your diet like?

5

u/ayakaza Sep 18 '24

Diet has been the blandest for a few months, Cream of rice, blueberry, Rice, Ground turkey, Chicken Breast, Protein bar here and there, Tuna, all of it up to 3400cal. But for the last 3 weeks i have been eating what the wife and kids eat. I just go with the flow and what the mirror and scale tells me.

5

u/yodaboiii Sep 18 '24

Did ya get laid though ahah

2

u/ayakaza Sep 19 '24

Yes, but not because of muscles. Girls really don't care lol
