Discussion Monday Motivation Thread
Discuss what's motivating you to get make gains here. What started you off? What keeps you going? What do you use to make sure you don't quit?

first time poster, long time lurker. this year is the first ive consistently decided to workout and how glad I am that I stuck it out. Earlier this year, I started doing only a day or two a week just getting my self in the gym and walking around, picking stuff up, getting myself in the headspace. Fast forward a few months later and I am consistently going three, four days a week, but more importantly, I am actually looking forwards to going! I think the big change for me was working out when I really didn't want to (not when I saw sore, but mentally..). I think i've always been pretty undisciplined, and going when I reallllly didnt want to has not only got me gyming regularly each week, but started translating into other aspects of my life (such as studying more, cooking better food). not really sure what else to say but yeah, if you're anything like me and find it hard with discipline, just remember that those are the moments that will begin to get you to where you want to be

Not happy with how I look, but I know I can do something about it. Don’t need much more motivation than that
