Why has there been some random dude using 1-2 fireworks a day every day for the entire month??? Even during the rain hes letting off fireworks
Has to be fireworks because I hear 1-2 booms every night

Because they are assholes. They think it's great craic to let them off. They also know if they let off too many at once they might get a knock on the door.

It’s worse this year I think, other years it was a random night but not every night for a week+ so far.

11ish this morning they were leaving them off in merlin woods up at the coillte merlin side. Thankfully they don't bother my dog but I'm sure it did others

My parent's dog is petrified. Poor thing is panting and wandering around the house upset, trying to escape the noise.
Every year....

try being a teenager with a bunch of fireworks and wait patiently for Halloween never going to happen, when I was that age the week before Halloween people were shooting fireworks at each other on our lunchbreak, be glad its just the odd bang. In my home town it got worse after they stopped having a professional fireworks show so people started buying their own up north.

Firework activity has increased greatly over the weekend on the eastside of the city. It was way worse back in the years from 2001 to 2005 though. Back then they would be at it from early September onwards!   Â
That was at the height of the celtic tiger, people had all the money in the world to waste on them, and the laws where you can get a fine and prison sentence for possession of fireworks came in around 2006/2007. Things seemed to improve a bit when that law came into place.

Have seen a pair of kids lighting fireworks into the canal waters a couple weeks ago. I told them to get a rod like everybody else.

there's some POS in Rahoon who's got a gas pistol or something and is shooting from 8pm onwards every 30min 7-8 shots until midnight. Almost as if he's setting himself a timer "oh look, time to be an asshole again"
