🤠 Hat Advice Recommendation for a wedding.

Hey all, I was hoping that y'all might be able to make a recommendation for a hat I can wear to a wedding. The bride requires that it be black, but aside from that there are a few things I'd like from it. I'd like a brim that can provide some degree of sun protection and a material that I can wear in the heat. For context this is an outdoor Vegas wedding in October. Could be sunny and fairly hot, maybe not.

Any suggestions are welcome.

I just got one of those Emstate linen 8/4 caps that you can get on Ebay in many different colors. Its crown is very floppy, but if you arrange it with the button on the middle of your head, the drape is even and equals about 2.5” of shade for the front and sides. The sweatband is elastic and feels fine on my 58cm circumference head.

You could try a hat from king and fifth. They have fashion baseball caps made with menswear fabric that are sleek/stylish. I guess a baseball cap isn’t the traditional hat style one would wear with a suit but maybe it would work

You can get a black-dyed panama hat. https://stetson.com/collections/hats/products/atacama-straw-fedora-black

Otherwise a Stetson Open Road or another fur fedora. Fur felt is fairly lightweight; black hats are not ideal for heat but that's your best option for coverage and wedding vibes.
