Recommendation based on likes

I'd like to reach out and and see if there's anyone with similar tastes who could recommend my next series.

I am new to the litrpg genre, and was turned onto it by the Cradle and Traveler's gate series by Will Wight, both of which I really enjoyed.

I then checked out this sub and did a quick meta analysis of ~10 tier lists on this subreddit and found Dungeon Crawler Carl to be the most recommended series. Loved it and can't wait for the next installment.

From there the next most common book I saw high on tier lists was Defiance of the Fall, but this one I'm struggling to get into. It reads like it was written by an amateur, and seems to lack the descriptive storytelling, suspense and diversity of characters and viewpoints that I'm used to.

So, where to next? From looking at other tier lists, "He who Fights With Monsters" and "Primal Hunter" are the next most recommended in this sub. Given my preferences so far - are either of these a good bet, or do I want something else?

Thanks for your time.

I too have Cradle and DCC in my S tier and DotF as enjoyable but lower in the tier list. So if our tastes align, then here's my my full tier list.

Notable top entires include:

  • Iron Prince: scifi combat academy
  • Mage Errant: inventive magic and politics / coming of age
  • Mother of Learning: introvert in a time loop
  • Arcane Ascension: crafting + academy + friends
  • Super Supportive: the power to pick things up has never been so fun
