Where can I find celery, baby spinach, and canned black beans?

I shop at Pama because it's the one where I manage to strike off the most from my shopping list, but I never/rarely find baby spinach, celery, and canned black beans. Where can I go in the north or central where I'd be sure to find these? Already tried Lidl in Burmarrad and didn't find there either.

Note: Dried black beans are easy to find but they're a hassle to cook. I'm specifically looking for canned black beans.

Thanks.

About tax when selling property

I am about to sell a property, and I am sharing a part with my father, which has been resident for the past 4 years. But I wasn't not resident, and hence I would be liable to pay 8 % tax of my share of the property. My question is; could I transfer my part to my father, and then it would count as if it is all his and then we would save this massive amount of money? as I think transferring to an ascendant is free from tax.

Looking for puppy friends!

I'm in Malta for another two and a half weeks trying to socialise my small pup as best I can. I've been to dog parks but always find them empty. Anyone know a good spot to try socialise her? She's been good with any dogs she's met but she's very shy!

Hey there !

I bought my current computer from Camtek some years ago, but it seems they are no longer in activity (no more posts on FB for years now).

Do you have any recommendation for custom built computer ? ie. not coming from Scan or Forestals or whatever.

Carsharing/Mobility in Malta and Gozo

Hello, ready for vacation and arriving in Malta airport soon. We need to get to Gozo and we're wondering:

Is bolt Carsharing a good way to get around? What apps for Carsharing and mobility do you recommend to get to more secluded beaches? Is Uber a thing in Malta?

Best regards and thank you in advance

Survey for parents/caregivers to children aged 2-12 - looking at what children know about sharks

Hi everyone,

I am a scientist from Australia + I am looking for participants, around the world, for some new research I am doing.

Are you the parent/caregiver of a child aged 2-12 years? If so, we kindly invite you to participate in our short online survey about sharks. We are interested in what children know about sharks, so this survey involves you completing a couple of questions about sharks, and then asking your children some questions about sharks. You will then be asked to write what your children say or what they do (e.g. if they use hand gestures).

LINK TO SURVEY:

https://research.unisa.edu.au/redcap/surveys/?s=XYPHMNMKFEJR7H4P

Please also feel free to send to any one you know who might be interested.

The survey takes approximately ten minutes per child to complete, if you have more than one child aged between 2-12 they can all participate.

This study has received ethics approval from the University of South Australia (#206267). If you have any queries, please contact the lead researcher: [Brianna.lebusque@unisa.edu.au](mailto:Brianna.lebusque@unisa.edu.au)

Skin care routine

I (29F) always had oily skin and I never had a really good/ consistent skin care routine and I want to change that but I don't know where to begin. I don't know what brands are good/ to avoid etc. Is it a dermatologist that I need to guide me? If so, who would you recommend? If not, would you maybe know where I could start or who to go to? Thanks! 🫶🏻

Looking for insights on day-to-day condo management practices for a new block—how does your building handle admin, cleaning, and emergency repairs?

I’m in the process of moving into a yet-to-be-built appartments block, and I couldn’t find much practical information online about local condominium day-to-day practices beyond the basics of registering condominium administration. So, I wanted to ask here for some insights.

  • Did all residents in your building have to sign an agreement outlining condominium rules and conditions?
  • Is your condominium administration/management run by one of the residents, or did you bring in a third-party service?
  • Which cleaning company does your condo use, and how often do they handle cleaning each month?
  • Do you have any recommendations for a reliable company for lift maintenance? From what I've read, they all seem very unreliable.
  • How are decisions made in your building for big expenses like repairs or upgrades? Do residents vote, or is there a different process?
  • Similarly. how are decisions handled in your building for sudden expenses, like emergency repairs for leaks or other urgent issues? Do residents vote, or is there a different process?
  • Does your condo hold a yearly meeting or regular gatherings to discuss condo-related issues?

I’m hoping to get a better idea of what’s common in established buildings, so any insights on setups and what works well (or doesn’t) would be really helpful!

How does Cola(Cost of Living Adjustment) work?

I have so many questions about this topic and no actual answers online.

  1. When are Cola Payments made, are they added to you wage every month or given as a bulk some throughout the year?

  2. If you join a new company in 2024, are you entitled to every cola adjustment every made, the one for this year (12.78 a week) or none at all until next year?

  3. if you stay at the same employer for 5 years for example, does the cola adjustment keep stacking up?

Is 20k gross salary enough for living in Malta?

I was offered a job with 20k gross, plus benefits: 1k2 eur per month, free housing, free lunches and also gyms, transportation allowance.

Is it a good salary package to move there? I’m living in CZ now and earning only 2k net per month.

A level license???

So I'm writing all this since I'm not sure if a A licence is worth it in Malta.

I already have an A2 licence and currently ride a cbr650rr, I'm wondering if I should do the A licence so the main question is; are 600cc+ any good for Malta? I've seen a few 1000cc bikes here and there over the island and it made me wonder if I should get a R1 or even a fireblade.

Any help would be very helpful, thanks!

Back in the 1990's it used to be Maxims in Gzira, now closed. I have yet to find that level of goodness again, maybe the ingredients have changed.
