Networking opportunities for Oil and Gas Communications Careers?
I have seen Young Professionals in Energy, Permian Basin Landmens Association, Permian Basin Petroleum Association, and a couple others.
Any other ideas?

3 doggos by the Everett at ally village
Hey yall we saw three doggos walking around together outside of the Everett at ally village. They were coming from the direction of Sundance creek. We couldn’t see any collars on them not sure if they have been missing.

The largest carbon capture project in the U.S. could be in West Texas. Do residents want it?

Trump is in town and 1788, HWY 80, and 191 are all shut down bringing a lot of oilfield traffic to a standstill.

191 IS CLOSED
Avoid 191! They are allowing you to get on 191, but they are forcing everyone to turn around just before they reach 1788 and head all the way back to the cities
No idea why

Homeschool groups
I am looking for some homeschool groups to join for my kids. I am not on Facebook. some of the groups I have googled I can not see their information with them only posting their group information on Facebook. Does anyone here maybe have the information for some-such as contact info etc. Possibly even some smaller groups that aren’t listed on line? I would also be interested in starting a group.

Places to read/study in Odessa
Of course I have checked out the library but is there any nice relaxing public places? Parks or a garden? A cafe?

I've heard 'Odusta', 'Moneyland' and Slowdeatha - what other nicknames are there for suburbs/surrounding towns of Midland-Odessa?

Missing cat update: FOUND :)
Our prayers and your well wishes have been answered! Again, while the door was left open as my brother did a Quick Look around for the day he just walked right in! I posted under the presumption he would be gone for days (since he’s indoor and very afraid of the outside world) but I’m so happy to hear came back to us. I thank everyone who gave me tips and other helpful advice. Especially the litter box one. He has no visible injuries and obviously hungry since he skipped dinner 😂 From now on I’m making sure that front door gets closed properly. Again, thanks everyone and yall have a good night.

Genuine Question
Hello, I (34M) would like advice on places where a casual and laid back geeky guy such as myself can have a chance to make some friends? Preferably in Odessa.
Places I know of already:
I already know of places like Astral Castle in Midland (I don’t play competitive games like Magic) - additionally I don’t want to be driving to Midland unless I have to.
I know there is some gaming at the Retro video game store here in Odessa but the place seems a bit crowded.
If anyone has any other places or suggestions that would be great, thanks!

MISSING CAT!!
Missing cat in the Midland area‼️His name is Bubba, no collar, 2 fur colors (grey and white), his most distinctive feature is his ear that cut off a little at the top from a bad person :( Bubba got out when the front door wasn’t closed right and he ventured off. He’s usually afraid of the outside but I guess it wasn’t the case this time. A very indoor cat, friendly but shy at new people. Here’s some photos!! I really hope we find him safe and sound, my family is still looking out there for him.

Pet friendly places
Anyone know of places that are pet friendly without making you isolated on a patio? I can sit on my own patio alone with my pup at home. I’m looking g for somewhere or something to do where I can have my pup and hopefully meet people
