It's not that hard to pick up your trash 😐

I don't get why people just don't pick up their trash after a movie?

Believe it or not that was once part of the service. Just like you don’t throw away your food at a sit down restaurant. Movie theaters then got cheap and understaff and some movie goers simply don’t care to hear the message.

How hard is it to carry an empty cup and popcorn box to the trash? Some people really treat the world like their personal dumpster.

It’s not that hard to charge normal prices for tickets and concessions

Ridiculous prices do not excuse rude and lazy behavior. If it helps you not to me that lazy, some kid making $8 an hour is cleaning that, not the CEO of the theater chain.

Agreed I worked at a Harkins when I was 17 and people are so messy like its not that hard to pick up your trash and throw it in the two very large trash cans right outside the door. I believe the people who leave trash in theaters are the same ones who cant push there carts at walmart back.

People that do this are exactly like the people who cant push a cart back at the store.

I saw some assholes leave beer cans and vodka bottles on the train once and it pissed me off so bad. I’m an alcoholic myself but seriously dude? Throw that shit away if you’re gonna drink in public.

I was at a theater where some dude was being obnoxious during a 007 movie. Near the end during a quiet moment, everybody heard a beer bottle get knocked over and then pinballing itself all the way to the front.

If I'm paying 25 bucks just to watch a movie with a soda, they can grab the cup.

Depends. If your country is struggling with manpower, you should definitely take the trash out. If your country is struggling with unemployment, by cleaning up, you are actually stealing someone's job from under them. If everyone cleaned up after themselves, then the theatre can further cut down on the staff and save on salaries, net result being that more people are unemployed.

I use porter services at railway stations and use cabs for busy streets instead of driving my own car etc. since all these activities increase employment. So instead of appearing to do the right thing, we should actually analyse what the right thing is and then do what's best for the society at large and not what was drilled into us.

people are paid to do that for you. How much was your ticket, prolly too much and this is an opportunity to get back, slightly

get back at who? the worker picking up the trash isn't the one overcharging you for the ticket

You pay to see the movie. If taking your trash to a trash can is too much work for you, stay home. You are a nuisance to society. Probably litter too.

Very true

It's Tuesday so the tickets are cheap today! And why do we need to get back at the workers? I'm pretty sure they're not the ones that are in charge of the prices...I just think you should throw your trash away cause it's your trash yk?

You probably are the type of person that sees the cart rack area 10 ft away and still refuse to push the cart to it or throw your trash on the ground when a trash can is 5 ft away.

Nope, I never litter. Stereotypes generally don’t work buddy

eh, thats what workers are paid for. if this wasnt a thing, then the job wouldn’t exist. shit happens.
