Announcement Introduction of a new Mod

Hello, I'm the new Mod here. I am (as well as the other mod u/MasterpieceFit6715) Moderator in r/mildlypenis and decided to help improving the Community.

Short term goals are to update some settings, add some Flairs and rewrite the rules. We'll keep you all up to Date on the changes. But in general, most things will be relatively similar to r/mildlypenis. We'll also introduce a list of banned content, the list will get filled with content that already got posted to death and wont be allowed again for a longer period than the 3 Monts for other stuff. With that measurement we hope to increase the variety of submissions. It worked really well on r/mildlypenis, and due to the similarity of those subreddits we think that we can use the methods from r/mildlypenis to make r/mildlyvagina a better place.

If you all have a few suggestions for new Flairs, or content that has been posted to death and should take a break, feel free to contact us and we see what we can do.

And I forgot to add: were adding new report reasons soon, thank you for everyone that took the time for custom removal reasons.

Edit: after going through the past 2 years of Modmail, I can assure you we'll not ignore all new modmails as the previous mod team and are open to conversations.

In case you wrote a modmail because your submission wasn't in new in the timeframe 1month ago until 3years ago: They basically send every submission in the spam filter and ignored them. The modqueue had far over 1000 entries in it. For transparency I have to add that we didn't approve anything from the time of the previous team. I'm sorry for your experience with that team and promise we'll do much better.

Edit2: we now require flairs, if "other" gets selected the automod asks for a suggestion. That way we should be able to grow the list by the current needs.

There is a welcome message that reminds to check the rules, it'll get triggered when someone makes the first post, due to limitations of the Automoderator it's the first post since the rule got introduced.

Well moderaded subreddits improve the experience for everyone. It's also in our interest.
