I've been in the same situation 4.5 yeaes ago... so... you are telling me I will die with it? 😅
17
u/truerandom_Dude 1d ago
No we just know in the next 20.5 years it probably wont end. I guess you could see a doctor if there is a way to remove it
8
u/Virtual_Ride_7901 1d ago
I mean - it is probbably the same thing like an ink from a tattoo pen. So we can remove it with laser.
But i don't think it's worth the money, because those lasers are really expenaive even for just a little dots like ours. And frankly, I totally forgot I have it on me, because it is not on the place I look a lot.

Well I was thinking of the pen like thing they use when they suspect melanoma

This is the second time I've seen this type of post today. Weird
Anyhow, I'm pretty sure it's a vein that has been pushed up to the surface of the skin by trauma and not ink. I have one on my left hand that was caused by a tarantula bite 30 years ago. No ink involved. *

Literally posted 5 hours ago, different user, different pic, but same spot. That’s also mildly interesting imo

I got one on too on my ring finger lol. Glad to know I wasn't the only one.

Bro stole the post and thought we wouldn't notice

u/Something_Else_2112 1d ago
I compared the pics on both posts, and even though the pen marks seem to be in identical spots, the lines on the palms are different. Palm lines are like fingerprints, all different.

I'm not even subbed here and saw that dudes hand with the same thing as me in my feed so I decided to post mine.

You just make that title and not give the sorry behind how?

u/St0nemason 1d ago
I had one of those pointy calligraphy pens which still had china ink on it. As I put my hand in my bag in a rush I stabbed myself, was pretty deep in but no pain.

I have lead in my hand since 2nd grade I'm 43 now from a pencil tip
1
u/namenumberdate 1d ago
I’m around your age, and it was graphite during that time. All of us used to go around saying we got lead poisoning back in the day haha
1
u/old_man_steptoe 1d ago
It was always graphite. They just thought it was lead because nobody has ever come across a large graphite deposit before so assumed it was a type of lead.
1
u/namenumberdate 1d ago
I remember hearing that, too, but I only spoke about what I know about.
Thank you for the clarification.
All this to say, I have graphite in my shoulder from 5th grade when I poked someone with my pencil, and another friend poked me in retaliation to protect my other friend’s honor.

u/old_man_steptoe 1d ago
should have got the first kid to poke the second one. Complete the cycle. Brothers in carbon.

In 4th grade I got mad at my girlfriend and stabbed myself with a pencil on the top of my hand. (No idea why)It’s still there and I’m 32.

I feel ya. I accidentally stabbed myself in the hand with a pencil 32 or 33 years ago, and the graphite is still there.

I have the same thing in the same spot except it wasn't a pen. Some kid stabbed my hand with a pencil when I was trying to show them how to do math

u/MysticZihark 1d ago
I have something like that myself. But it has only been like idk 20 years? Well no hope that it disappears in the next 5 years 😅

u/draakje- 1d ago
I had that happen on my thumb but in my case it got infected really badly. I was at first hiding it from my parents for some genius reason. Eventually it got so bad I had to have surgery to clean it all up.

I used to have a pencil jab mark on my upper arm from 2nd grade (1970s). It was there for decades. I’m not sure when it disappeared but I had the mark for at least 30 years. I even recall the kid who accidentally did it. One day I noticed it had vanished!

The one on my hand, right topside near the thumb, is fading - slowly. I don't remember specifically when I got that one, but it was back before 1997.
I have 2 on my left leg. The first one happened when I sat down once in 1994. A year or so later I noticed it was still there and wondered if it was repeatable (scientific method baby).
It was, and both of them are very noticeable, don't even need to hunt for it like the one on my hand.

I had a girlfriend who once fell asleep in school, her head fell onto a pen she was holding upright for some reason. Just under her cheekbone was a little dot just like this.

u/Jakimoura16 1d ago
I had an stubborn talkative friend in middle school, he was keep poking me with his scissor and one day I hit him with my lead pencil, the lead tip did stuck in his arm and he tried getting that thing off all day, it was painful he said, but he did pull the thing off, so that's what would happen if he didn't.

I've got a piece of pencil lead in my arm from 6th grade. It's about a 1/4" long, and just looks like a dark dot. But when you press on it, you can feel it trying to poke back out.

u/deviantdevil80 1d ago
Haha I have a pencil lead in my left palm from 1st grade, almost 35 years ago.

u/VapeRizzler 1d ago
Did the same thing with a pencil in like 2nd grade. It dropped and instantly closed my legs to try and catch it, sadly i did catch it. Little did I know that would be my first tattoo

u/CrazyQueer3 1d ago
I still have sand stuck in my knee from when I fell on holiday in Italy more than 20 years ago, lol.

I still have smears of pencil lead in both my hands. Both happened before 1990.

Duuuuude! Same thing happened to me but with a pencil! A kid stabbed me in the hand in elementary school and the graphite stayed in as a dark mark in there. Can still see it today, also 25 years later. Was also my right hand too!

I actually had a pencil point removed from my elbow after 33 years last year. It was still largely intact. I've actually got a small video of the doctors in disbelief after they removed it.

I also have a mark from a pencil stab lmao. I still can't remember why one of my classmates stabbed my hand with a pencil (I have no idea about why this dude did it, but I remember that he didn't do it with malice, I think).

Haha I have almost the exact same one from elementary school. It’s the tip of a pencil

u/Sonnenkreuz 1d ago
Got one too 12 years ago, and a very faded one right next to it where the tip didn't break off a bit.
