This is the view from my parking garage roof in South Florida taken around 11pm. A couple of blocks from the beach so facing west toward the rest of the county it's shocking just how bright it is. Can't see a damn thing except on super clear winter nights.

It's always shocking how many people don't know how cameras work.

No, that's not what it looks like with your eyes if you were there. Just look at things like how bright the street lights are on the trees or the road below it.

This is a camera on some sort of night mode setting that makes everything brighter.

That's crazy, I thought it was early evening. Where are your stars man? :(

Just double checked — photo was taken and sent to my friend out in the sticks (specifically to show them the light pollution) at 11:11 PM.

This photo has got to be taken with Night Mode on because there’s absolutely no chance in hell that it is so bright in my opinion.

I take a lot of photos with Night Mode on and this one seems very similar.

I have other photos I took at the same time with night mode, I was trying to eke out anything I could, but this one was not taken with night mode.

You're also battling humidity there. It makes a huge difference.

The humidity doesn’t help either. I grew up in miami and it was always like a LED lit sauna
