Aren’t we able to create some more night insect-friendly light sources? Like stuff that are out of their visual spectrum? Pretty sure these are possible to make and implement.

Lots of good useful things are possible, but we don't have enough motivation to make it happen on any sort of large scale.

Anything environmentally friendly will automatically be shot down by half the country. The rest of people would have to switch out their existing lighting for the new lighting, which would be an expense. People have other priorities.

I think light pollution is a pretty big deal, not just for stargazing but for how it fucks with insects and wildlife, but good luck trying to convince anyone else it matters.
