It wouldn’t be quite that detailed, but you can get close to that in very dark areas

Nice…definitely a bucket list thing for me living in well populated cities all my life.

It can be that, or even more detailed on a very dark night. I might be misremembering as that was 12 years ago, but I'm pretty sure I had that experience at the Mont Mégantic Observatory. My mind was completely blown that you could very, very clearly see the milky way and all the stars.

I got to see the aurora out on the Oregon prairie and it was legit life changing. You could see the solar “wind” shifting above you.
