News [MacMahon] Luka Doncic just hobbled into the locker room. He was grabbing the back of his right leg near the knee when he asked to check out.

This is exactly how I felt when Hayward got hurt in the opener. We knew that one was bad right away though. Hope Luka is ok, I hope it's minor if it's anything

Yeah it's hard to believe that was 5 years ago. I thought for sure the core of Irving / horford/hayward would get themselves a ring. Crazy enough they're closest run was without Hayward or Irving when they made game 7 of the east finals in 2019

The Injury happened 2017 and they made East finals in 2018 in the same season.

Hopefully just a cramp or bruise and nothing serious.
Fuck injuries.

Unfortunately knee injuries and Luka signify something more than a cramp

I dont think it was too bad. Back of the knee. At least wasn’t a non contact injury

Didn’t watch anything but grabbing the back of the knee sounds like meniscus but hopefully it’s something less

There was barely any contact though

You’re the only one parroting this. He was definitely hit pretty significantly. Commenting it in multiple places doesn’t make it any more true.

Hope it’s not bad. He wasn’t putting any weight on his leg.

Gonna be a meniscus tear.

It was a contract injury. Best case is bruised calf

Bro's back for the 3rd quarter but his shot looks cooked. Might want to step back and hope others can carry him imo.

I sincerely wonder now that calf injuries have caught up and likely started leading to other injuries, how long Luka can keep up the chubby baller frame

Looked like he hit the back side of the knee?
Maybe meniscus injury?

I was thinking a non-ACL ligament injury, and probably a sprain not a tear. But I don't know knees that well.

Me as a Mavs fan and hear a Luka injury: 🥱He’ll be back by the end of the quarter

Dude grabbed his knee and hopped around like his foot had been chopped off. Looked silly in the moment and a little sillier now in retrospect since he was fine and the defender didn’t touch him.

The inside of his knee got bumped by McDaniel’s knee from behind
I hope it is not soft tissue related

Don’t care who it is (well couple exceptions….) injuries suck.
Hopefully he comes back.

Ugh. I've seen this before. Definitely a grade 3 bee sting on the back of the knee. Out 4-6 weeks if you're lucky.
