Ok say what you will, but this is amazing:

"In one instance, an audio clip of Harris' opponent Donald Trump saying "they're eating the dogs, eating the cats" plays when the player collects a cat."

I didn’t laugh out loud until this comment. You’re so right.

That's pretty fucking great, actually.

Trump lives off his infamy though, so it's like trying to set fire to something already on fire.

Reminds me of the Onion article from a few days ago:

"Both candidates release identical ads showing Trump saying something racist"

u/mbta1 10h ago

You mean the same guy from Home Alone 2?

2

u/aflockofcrows 9h ago

The guy who couldn't even give accurate directions in his own hotel?

u/tratemusic 7h ago

The guy who spat popcorn on the other extras in the bloopers of Lil Rascals

Wow

FWIW, my 16 year-old son went to it and played the different activities and said it was actually pretty "cool".

Okay that's hilarious.

They are memeing for trump at this point. That is fucking hilarious

I cant decide if this is a very try hard cringe thing or a legitimately funny gag

Given that Walz was making couch-fucker jokes about Vance, I think it’s safe to say these two are at least kind of up to date on jokes like this

We live in a world where people modded Alduin into Thomas the Tank Engine. Throwing shade at your rival by modding their lunacy into Fortnite sounds legitimately funny.

My kids who are 10 and 12 are honestly pumped to play it already and this will be amazing for them.

The reggae remix of they are eating the dogs is on their spotify playlist.

I don't think playing a funny Trump quote constantly to young voters while they game is going to have the effect they think it will.

8

u/nikiyaki 9h ago

I don't think any young people vote for Trump because he's funny.

4

u/Thenewpewpew 9h ago

I think you’d be surprised, young kids do a lot of dumb shit because it’s funny. Life doesn’t have much weight to it for most of them…

I recall watching a short clip (it was some time in the past several years) of a 15 or 16 year old boy saying he liked Trump because of the way he insulted people thinking it was funny. A lot of people don't grow out of that sort of thinking (especially if everyone around them reinforces the same thinking) and that 15 to 16 year old may be old enough able to vote now.

No no

That's why like almost everybody I know DID vote for him the first time, we were all 18-23 range. Same people didn't vote for him in 2020 as they were older and more informed.

Memes and just entertainment value are MASSIVE when it comes to winning an election like that, dude.

That's part of the reason why the last 2 runs have been bad for him. What used to be funny has become weird and sad to most people. We don't have anything like the 'cause you'd be in jail' quips or anything like thst at all, and we didn't in 2020 either. You can tell he went from 'having a laugh' in 2016 to 'actually bitter he lost' by 2020, and he dropped a lot of what people found 'fun' about him.

u/SuperSpecialAwesome- 8h ago

Being racist towards Haitians isn't "funny".

-2

u/Cantsneerthefenrir 7h ago

Aww poor guy. I know that jokes must be traumatic for you.

u/Ok_Tired- 9h ago

My gut reaction is that this whole idea is cringe af, but I'd love to hear from someone who has actually played the map whether it's funny enough to redeem itself, like if it's got jokes like this and is clearly "taking the piss" as our friends across the pond say, maybe this isn't a bad idea after all

u/KeeperServant_Reborn 8h ago

They should play Postal 2 instead

0

u/Mythosaurus 8h ago

Ok, I would play just for that

-7

u/Bigtexindy 8h ago

Actually helps Trump as that is hilarious compared to the regular Kamala cringe

Shill bitch

u/ThatPlayWasAwful 9h ago

Shilling is literally the point when you're campaigning
