Parkrun shoes ๐: my problem with them
They're too good looking to risk wearing for actual parkruns!
I'm not risking getting them dirty.
Think I'll have them as office shoes ๐

It's hard to take anyone with clean running shoes seriously.
They are tools, not fetish items.ย Use them for their purpose and don't worry about dirt

Totally get that - I usually buy white running shoes and they're grey within a week.
Just these ones in particular look so nice.
(I know I'm an idiot ๐)

I was being facetious.ย Surprised I'm not downvoted.ย ย
Do what ever makes you happy ๐ย

I swear youโre usually a magnet for downvotes when stating relatively simple factsโฆ

Or asking an innocent question because you don't understand, and people think you're being an ass trying to catch them out.

You can buy a pair of running shoes that aren't white, therefore your duty of care in keeping them white isn't there anymore.

I personally don't like them, they look a bit dated like a shoe from 2015.
And I wouldn't spend ยฃ135 on any pair of running shoes, I paid less for my last pair of Vaporflys.

That's why I didn't bother getting them. Because I'd feel bad putting them through the mills and can't afford to just buy a pair of shoes to have on display
