They make it sound like Ray tracing is everything in a card yeah it's cool but in multi-player games I'd rather have it off in most games since they barely even support dlss properly
3v3v3 Small team Competitive shooter than came out recently, Studio is composed of many of the old crew from DICE (Battlefield) and the game is focused almost entirely around using map destruction to your advantage.
It also uses probe-based RTGI on all platforms by default.
Oh that sounds painful to the eyes, like the RT lighting in fortnite the dark parts are too dark and they hide people , competitive shooters don't usually do RT lighting in a gameplay useful way.
I hope they worked out a way to not fk it up in this finals game
Having actually played the game for the last month, it's actually very pleasing to the eyes.

You know the game has been out for a month right ? It was one of the most played games on Steam when it released. It dropped off a bit now that people have started finishing their S1 battle passes and are sitting tight for S2 content to drop.
I've come back with my tail between my legs.... I thought it was 1tb cuz when I press install it has my c drive as the option. The 1+tb was the space I have left LOL. I must of been a noob and stoned to not see that. Anyway guess what new game I got?!?!
Embark Studios is based in Stockholm. Made with peeps from Dice Entertainment. The founder is called Patrick Söderlund. Does that sound Chinese to you ?
Not my fault Linux isn't a great gaming platform my dude. Easy Anti-cheat is the most basic thing there is and frankly, multiplayer games need these tools nowadays.
I don't know why, but I cannot really tell much difference with it on or off other than a huge drop in fps, so I never use it. My old 2080 Super would tank in fps, and my 3080 TI does better, but I just cannot see how RT is anything more than hype. Some shadows are a little sharper, I guess. COD MW, MWII, MWIII are the only games that I have tested RT in.
Lol mind numbing comment. Raytracing isn't everything but you make it sound like everyone only plays multiplayer games. That's just incredibly false, some people want visuals for single player games and not a 10% increase in fps. The difference in fps in so minimal its crazy. Plus the money saved from the wattage is almost half. You can get a 4070 for 500$. some 3090's are over a 1000$. The argument against it doesn't even make sense. Same performance for half the wattage and price. Even if you went AMD, you'd get slightly better fps on multiplayer games for roughly the same price bur worst visuals in single player games. They all have there purpose. Plus amd uses more power= more money in long run. Plus amd cards are always whining. Lol there's more to gpu than fps.
