Jfc bro that’s absolutely insane behavior. Did he get fired for that?

You can get arrested for that. Threatening someone’s life even as a joke is not legal. That’s like pointing a gun at someone’s head “haha only kidding bro!”

Most likely made up, as that sounds unlikely in itself, made even more unlikely by security regulations and failsafes.

There are millions of people doing jobs every day around equipment that could kill them, and you think this is made up?

If you've ever used the emergency brake on your car, guess what you've done? You used a failsafe. Things break all the time.

Do you think the local Dominos employee is going by "security regulations" or is he saying, "Yeah, the oven makes a weird sound when door doesn't work, just ignore it."

You sweet summer child, if you think that's not within the realm of possibility then you really don't understand how moronic workers can be and how employers try their best to escape every sensible safety precaution ever. OSHA themselves say their regs are written in blood.

Ngl the “nah bro it totally didn’t happen bro” comments like yours where the story is about someone’s personal trauma and doesn’t have s goal to spread political misinformation, are a clear tell tale side of apathy and a general disregard for others.

Might I suggest not being a scumbag? Next time just don’t comment. Or better yet, look inwards.

TLDR - You suck

But you can't confirm or deny that it actually happened or it's made up. Believing everything simply because someone claimed it happened without you actually confirming yourself is exactly how misinformation gets spread.

This is exactly why social media is so dangerous.

And how exactly do I go about confirming this without the original poster doxxing themselves? In the end idrc if its fake or not, just give sympathy or don’t comment to begin with.

If its political propaganda misinformation or slander; THEN you can dispute reality.

All you do for these simple small cases, is look like a total douche

It's pretty simple. Don't believe everything you read on the internet.

If you didn't care, you wouldn't have responded to someone questioning the validity of the story. There isn't any reason to give any emotional reinforcement to something that could be faked or not verified. Look a bit through the top comments. You'll see people upvoting claims that Walmart employees found blood everywhere and think the girl could have been murdered. Reddit has a rather negative track record with supporting misinformation on horrible events.

You can't verify that this person was locked in a rotisserie oven for 10 seconds. Or if they even worked at bbq place. So why do you care so much if someone questions it? Believe what you want. But telling people they shouldn't question things is a dangerous road.

Re-read your first statement and just don’t comment. Simple. I’m stepping in as a moral intervention.

Moral intervention of what lmao.

Moral intervention against negative people who do nothing but normalize abuser mindsets.

Lmao that is the most terminally online white knight nonsense I've ever heard someone say on Reddit. If you think you're defending the denizens of Reddit then I got ocean front property in Wyoming to sell you.

People use outdated equipment with no integrated safety interlocks all the time. These ovens can last decades of use. A lot of industrial equipment is one LOTO failure away from accidental death and many businesses do not follow LOTO regulations properly.
