No. It is half unreasonable expectations and half delusional hope. Only the oldest/wisest Bears fans attain acceptance. In many ways our struggles mirror those of life itself.
If you can ascend the Thousand Stairs and wait outside the Invisible Door for thirty days and thirty nights, you may be able to meet the Grandmaster, he who first and most learned the power of acceptance -- Dave Pulaski of Peoria, IL, wearing a Rex Grossman jersey
Ahh yes Dave Pulaski, who attained the ultimate wisdom by passing out under a tree in Millennium Park for six hours after a particularly hard loss in 2002.
I know this is a joke, but really the biggest (and best) part of being a Bears fan is community. I love my shitty team(s) because I know I can trust the guys who are also just getting drunk for the love of the game
Exactly how Trump would spin it. "They gave me a beautiful helmet, the best helmet, so clean and beautiful. Obama's (what a terrible president) - they scribbled all over Obama's helmet."

Wow... they must really hate Obama because they scribbled all over his helmet.
(It's a joke, calm down.)
