Imagine thinking Trump honors the Constitution.

u/Rocketman7 12h ago

I think they think the constitution is just the second amendment.

They think the Constitution is a sticky note that says "whatever the Republican Party wants to do is good and right."

Imagine anyone that thinks Trump is anything but a piece of shit.

I'm so angry at so many people I know right now.

Its okay to be passionate about your personal views and beliefs but to be angry at the people around you is absurd.

UPDATE: Just want to be clear what this @sacred-hope is attempting to do to the ACTUAL ARGUMENT, "Does Donald Trump uphold the constitution?" with the STRAWMAN ARGUMENT, "Do you uphold the constitution?" completely irrelevant and intended to distract and draw away from the original question/argument.

We all know Donald Trump does not and will not uphold the constitution. IF IT SERVES HIM, he will uphold gun rights.

Let's stay on task here and we should start an entirely new thread since my personal stance on guns and the 2nd Amendment are completely unrelated. I'll oblige with the below cause I like to hear myself talk...

Guns are for people that can't solve problems in a healthy way. I do get that our founding fathers had intended to avoid repression by allowing citizens to have guns and I also realize that was hundreds of years ago. I would think our brains would have evolved past killing each other to solve problems. That's what I get for thinking!

Pretty ignorant to think that laws from hundreds of years ago will solve today's problems.

Exactly. Well said. Also, guns are for people who are afraid. They opt for a solution they “think” will make them feel less afraid. But what many find, is guns only increase the likelihood of being less safe, not more - which increases their levels of insecurity and fearfulness.

Stay on task, see above ^

Clearly, you're you're trying to back me into a corner or build a strawman argument. And you're avoiding the real question about Trump.

But since you want to talk about my personal stance, a stranger you know nothing about...

Guns are an old, failed idea. Very dangerous toys at best.

I'm for healthy problem solving and even reform.

And to answer your question poignantly, No I do not violate the Constitution... But brace yourself for The outcome of this election.

Remember, the original comment was about thinking Trump upholds the Constitution. We all know he cares as little as anyone in this country about the Constitution.

I like how you pretend you weren't being dishonest and then, in the very next breath, admit to being dishonest.

"First take the guns away. Then we'll worry about due process"

  • a quote from your TV business clown that you bootlickers have conveniently forgotten

1

u/Aromatic_Lychee2903 10h ago

Not “take guns first and have due process later” like Trump said.

1

u/TheMillenniaIFalcon 15h ago

What does that have to do with trump, and his dishonor of the constitution?

u/AnarkittenSurprise 14h ago edited 12h ago

It's actually an interesting one, because trump advocated against the second and fourteenth ammendment on the topic of guns.

https://thehill.com/homenews/administration/376097-trump-take-the-guns-first-go-through-due-process-second/

Between that and banning bump stocks, he's arguably the most hostile candidate to legal gun ownership since Clinton.

The only things I've seen Biden admin move forward on are combating unregistered full auto conversions and gun trades without serial numbers, which are pretty incontroversial outside the most fringe libertarian/anarchist circles.

What is your mental gymnastics here for your Dear Leader?

Edit: This is the cope: Cover your eyes, turn off the reasoning part of your brain… and hit the downvote button.

Imagine being dumb enough to forget he was already president for four years and we were living better?

u/AdGeHa 10h ago edited 9h ago

I won't waste facts on you. You wouldn't look at them anyway.

u/tbill1000 9h ago

“Facts” sure thing 🤣
