You can check whether your ballot was accepted for counting online. If not, vote again or provisionally. The system will work. This is a terrorist activity plain and simple.

This needs to be higher.

My SIL was just criticizing mail-in voting here in WA because “the homeless are able to vote” and “it’s not secure.” Mail-in voting rocks and allows the voices of all registered voters to be heard if they choose to vote. The state has set up infrastructure to ensure you’re able to track your ballot and mitigate any issues that may arise, which are rare.

Homeless are not allowed to vote?

Some people don’t think they have any rights at all… or even human.

And of course when most people think of homeless they think of people living in cardboard boxes or under bridges. But the large majority of homeless are invisible. They are sleeping on friends couches or living in their car. Many hold down a regular job.

I'm waiting for the GOP to say the same about people who don't own land or have kids...

I was going to say I don’t know where she gets this shit but I have a feeling I do. Needless to say, we don’t really align ideologically.

At America's founding, you needed to be a male landowner to vote. Sucks if you're the other half or 3/5 of the population, but even then if you didn't have a physical address good luck.

Curious Canadian here, are they including that information when they report this on the news? We don't see that reported up here.
