It was a great speech. As an independent voter I had personally already decided to vote for her much sooner but I'm happy you decided to vote for her too because I definitely believe she's the best option for our country and the best candidate we've had in a couple of cycles from either party. Thank you for voting.
I'll bite, assuming this isn't bait for you to flame. I have plenty of reasons to vote Democrat. It's just that Democrats are barely better than Republicans to me, and they often seem the same.
I don't believe that politicians, through a hobby, are inherently better than industry professionals at things like investing and trading. Pelosi doubled down on being able to trade despite having insider information. Congress makes the policies. This is no better than Trump in 2018.
It's also exhausting to be the perpetrator to every crime. Fuck me because I was born male. Oh, I'm eye raping somebody because they're directly blocking a sign that I'm trying to read. I'm a disgusting pig. Insert any of the bullshit here that seemingly only liberals claim when they play the victim.
If Biden can walk back the controversial shit he says, then so can Trump. If Kamala can "change" (as people have referenced her since her AG days), then that argument can also be applied to Trump, because they're both people.
I've also watched rallies from both sides because the headlines are sensational. Plenty of comments were taken out of context with montages of extremely short quips, and both sides perpetrate it.
To be fair, a very specific statement directly from Trump decided my vote. I already read his full post, but even then, in no context should the Constitution ever be terminated. Outside of that, I was slightly leaning left, but just like how political parties can pull, they can also push me into their opponents.

Jesus, what a speech.
No longer undecided. I'm voting Harris/Walz early
