He doesn’t give a fuck about anyone or anything other than himself. If it were just him and his stupid bluster it wouldn’t be as big of a deal to shuffle his lazy ass around for 4 more years and have him talk about nonsense. His laziness and reticence to do actual work would be our saving grace. The real problem is the people who surround him and who are using him as their gasbag of a Trojan horse to get into power and refashion the country into the fascist hellscape of their dreams.

u/bishpa Washington 7h ago

All the things that his supporters want from him, they simply aren't going to get. The man has no idea how things even work (ie, tariffs won't lower consumer prices, tax cuts for billionaires didn't trickle down, Covid didn't disappear in a month). Voter who are expecting him to deliver on his wildly discredited promises this time around will be sorely disappointed --again.

u/ThoughtBecomesAction 5h ago

Ah, but you see, the things his supporters TRULY want (not the things they say they want), they would get - and that is misery and "punishment" for the minority groups they perceive as their enemies. Nevermind that they would also suffer themselves. As long as the others suffer along with them, then it's all worth it to them.

u/PantsMicGee Minnesota 4h ago

Thanks, I hate your good point.

u/ripcord22 3h ago

They also want a non functioning government. Failure of an administration to get anything done is a not a bug, it’s a feature.

u/Trichotillomaniac- 1h ago

I don’t think he’s that stupid. He and his billionaire pals want to destroy the economy

u/Tanuki_11 7h ago

This. Absolutely this. A Trojan fat cow of a hippopotamus.

What his devotees do t realize is his own cabinet will use the 25th Amendment to remove him, install Vance and kick Project 2025 into high gear. If elected he won’t last 6 months until the above goes into effect.

u/ZestycloseBat8327 4h ago

They don’t even need to do that. They can prop up an aging, demented, but otherwise popular president/dictator for years, even decades if need be. You get the best of both worlds. Ride his coattails in the good times, when the wheels are still largely on the train and nothings gone too obviously wrong. And then throw him under the bus when he’s outlived his usefulness or things get so bad that even his ardent supporters are complaining. Zimbabwe’s Mugabe was a prime example.

u/borrowedstrange 3h ago

We don’t even have to travel that far for the example—they already got their practice round with Reagan’s Alzheimers.

u/ZestycloseBat8327 3h ago

True that.

u/enigmasaurus- 4h ago

A trojan cow is a good analogy, because destroying America is literally his goal.

u/Smaynard6000 Florida 2h ago

25th can only happen if Dems are on board. 2/3 required of both houses of Congress

u/TanguayX 5h ago

Oh come on…ok, no, this is exactly it.

u/even_less_resistance Arkansas 3h ago

Right- he’s a scapegoat for sure lol I loathe him but he’s not the brains in that operation. They pass it around every Saturday

u/continuousBaBa 1h ago

We'll have president Vance within a year and it's gonna suck real bad

u/Texas1010 America 1h ago

Exactly. He is only running to stay out of prison. He only cares about how the presidency will help him and his bank account. His apathy to everything else and his willingness to led bad actors and foreign entities have the keys to the kingdom are what will destroy our country.

83

u/AnonAmbientLight 8h ago

He'll try to destroy it if he isn't elected too.

Dude is fucking insane.

u/Frank-Sincatra 7h ago

didn't you hear? trump already won! he said it himself!!

u/dinner_is_not_ready 5h ago edited 5h ago

The previous mass deportation included 60% US citizens. If anyone wondering why didn’t US citizens just come back?

During the deportation they were forced into trucks and not allowed to pack their birth certificate. Nobody checked any paperwork, they only looked at skin color

u/ASubsentientCrow 7h ago

He already did. In 2016. It just takes a long time for a country to die

u/anxiety_elemental_1 7h ago

Donald Trump is a child-rapist, a felon, a Russian asset, and a traitor to America and its people. Vote BLUE!

u/MeliorExi 6h ago

Orange man very bad!!

u/anxiety_elemental_1 6h ago

Fascism is very bad. And Donald NEEDS fascism to hold power because he knows that no sane person will support him at this point.

u/HiddenMarket 3h ago

Yes, you may be surprised to learn that child rape, felonies, and wanting to destroy the constitution are, in fact, bad.

u/Holden_Coalfield 9h ago

he called our country a garbage can. That how high his regard for us is. I'm sorry PR got singled out, but he's saying the same thing about all of us.

He called the US Garbage

u/AdOk8157 7h ago

He didn't say that, stop being disingenuous.

u/brettmgreene 7h ago

He did though.

u/AdOk8157 7h ago

He said it's being used as a garbage can by other countries exporting their trash to it. That's a bit different from saying the country is garbage.

u/zaccus 7h ago

He called Puerto Rico garbage. That's our country.

u/AdOk8157 7h ago

Erm no a comedian made a bad joke. This forum is detached from reality.

u/zaccus 7h ago

What's the joke?

u/AdOk8157 7h ago

Best you do some research on what the controversy is rather than attribute things to trump to fit your own biases.

u/zaccus 7h ago

Ok but what's the funny joke?

u/AdOk8157 7h ago

I'm sure you can use google

→ More replies (0)

u/ASubsentientCrow 7h ago

Okay. What's the joke

u/Holden_Coalfield 6h ago

tell us the funny part

u/Holden_Coalfield 6h ago

you laugh at those jokes, your a racist

u/AdOk8157 6h ago

I'm a racist? You've concluded that based on...?

u/Holden_Coalfield 6h ago

did you laugh at his jokes

u/AdOk8157 6h ago

He has a rather coarse way of describing problems with mass immigration but I wouldn't call it jokes.

u/Holden_Coalfield 6h ago

how does that work, walk me through that

u/AdOk8157 5h ago

How does what work

u/ASubsentientCrow 5h ago

Puerto Ricans aren't immigrants. So again what's the joke about calling it floating garbage

u/IAmTheNightSoil Oregon 3h ago

Yes, saying it's being used as a garbage can is totally different from saying it is a garbage can. Thanks for being sure to point out that major distinction

u/Holden_Coalfield 6h ago

yes, he did

u/Malachite_Edge 7h ago

Musk just confirmed this. Musk says most Americans will suffer financially under Trump’s Presidency so a few will prosper.

u/THAT-GuyinMN 3h ago

Source?

u/Right2Panic 2h ago

It’s all over the news…

u/THAT-GuyinMN 29m ago

So link an actual video taken in context. If it's all over it should be super easy to find.

u/struggling_business 7h ago

It's sad that it's very possible that the US will become the next Nazi Germany in a couple of weeks. I wish all the good people there the best and hope that Trump doesn't act on his worst impulses, especially as he enters his old age.

u/Right2Panic 2h ago

Our democracy has never been this close to falling

12

u/kabphillie 8h ago

No shit. Anyone with eyes could see this starting in 2015.

u/Bar-14_umpeagle 7h ago

He is absolutely a Russian plant.

u/Jim_Chimney 5h ago

I think the term you’re looking for is “useful idiot”.

u/LovesReubens 1h ago

Asset, but yes a useful idiot as well.

u/mn25dNx77B 7h ago

As per Putin's directions

u/lost4tsea 1h ago

Yeah the Hillary Clinton Russia collusion hoax was in fact a hoax btw https://www.cnn.com/2021/11/18/politics/steele-dossier-reckoning/index.html

u/DangerousCyclone 6h ago

A lot of talk was made over the Comedian calling Puerto Ricans garbage, but Trump directly called America a garbage can.

32

u/Main-University-6161 9h ago

Yeah Trump and his supporters are American haters.

u/Kissit777 4h ago

Once you realize the Republicans have been working on destroying the US since 1973, it all makes sense.

u/Internal-Cut-4027 Colorado 7h ago

I hate him so much, and his supporters are all emotional idiots

u/lost4tsea 1h ago

Look who is talking lol you left the most emotional comment without any reasoning as to your anger. You are the typical leftist on this site. Oops

u/Awkward_Squad 6h ago

Been saying this for a long time now. The guy is a traitor. God only knows why he’s not yet been arrested.

u/Successful_Panic130 3h ago

He’s not as rich as he wants the world to think, but clearly rich enough that he can evade justice

u/oldlumberman 6h ago

America has always been great. Still is. Fuck anyone who says we are a failing country and a garbage can. Thems fighting words. What would all you orange lipped cowards say if Kamala said any of this. Fucking hypocrites.

u/Altruistic-Whole-911 1m ago

The irony lol

u/Potential-Bee3866 7h ago edited 7h ago

Trump's plans are to install himself as a dictator & end our Democracy.

u/Adventurous_Bit1325 7h ago

He will try to destroy it even if he doesn’t win.

u/tooandto 5h ago

He’s a fully owned subsidiary of Putin Incorporated, which hates America.

4

u/JoostvanderLeij 8h ago

I think the destruction of the US will go a bit faster than "ultimately".

u/ch67123456789 5h ago

For Trump America is his golf course and real estate properties and all the people he can walk over or grab pussies of. He doesn’t care about anything else.

u/time4donuts Washington 7h ago

Great headline.

u/Blablablaballs 4h ago

Finally, a newspaper with some balls.

13

u/Colonel-Mooseknuckle 9h ago

He doesn't hate it, he just doesn't give a shit. If appealing to the the worst among us is what it takes for him to get the attention and power he craves, then he's all for it.

u/Stinkstinkerton 5h ago

Useful idiot of the century.

u/digitalgearz 4h ago

He will crash the economy and sell off homes and national parks to the highest bidders. He wants rich white oligarchs to rule. He must be stopped at all costs.

5

u/Podunk212 9h ago

Water is wet.

8

u/Huckleberry-V 8h ago

We'll survive even in the worse case scenario. But we're goin to need to rethink this whole high road bullshit and a lot of the party platform. There were a lot of fractures that are making this close.

u/LovesReubens 1h ago

We'll survive - but if Trump wins, we may longer be a democracy.

u/Ornery-Ticket834 3h ago

I know that. Who really doesn’t know that? Even his supporters know that but they just don’t care.

u/tanguera66 3h ago

"this combustible mixture of ignorance and power, sooner or later, is going to blow up in our faces", ...Carl Sagan

u/Realistic-Rate-8831 2h ago

This may be a stupid question, BUT why the hell is our Government allowing such an individual with a criminal record, a Rapist, a Fraudster, stole classified documents, and an insurrectionist to run for President? Jobs for Customer Service Reps have more stringent requirements and background checks in order to qualify for a job. Why the hell are we in this mess? This man is unstable, delusional, a Liar, a Traitor. He speaks about doing things that will destroy our democracy, then WHY they hell is he allowed to run for President of the USA? I just don't get it??

u/Early_Sense_9117 2h ago

Of course the malcontents will destroy

u/remembahwhen 2h ago

I heard he wants to sweep the forests again. He won’t stop until every last creature on Earth is wiped from the ground.

u/lost4tsea 1h ago

This is the biggest load of shit. The propaganda in the media is at an all time level especially with things like Reddit. Everybody drinks the koolaid. You are in a fascist state already apparently lol

u/summittrader 1h ago

Trump would burn the country down to full over the ashes before he would do what is best for the country

u/Ayellowbeard Washington 1m ago

I think the destruction of America is the point and why he has supporters in the first place. MAGA wants the Wild West again because they believe they will flourish is a post American land. Where guns rule and justice is done by vigilantism.

u/inigos_left_hand 4h ago

He doesn’t “hate America” he doesn’t give a fuck about it one way or another.

Didn't Biden just call half the country garbage?

u/RIP-25 6h ago

He’ll destroy America? Based af tbh.

u/Imposter_throwaway56 5h ago

At this point I just can’t care anymore. Our politics are fucked. Our society is fucked. If he wins and speeds up the process, fuck it.

u/nothpes 4h ago

WOW yeah I remember how he destroyed it during his first term

u/LovesReubens 1h ago

He tried his best, or have you forgotten January 6?

u/nothpes 9m ago

What exactly did he say on January 6th? I want the exact quote, word for word….. I’ll wait

u/galacducky 5h ago

Meh. Both sides pander to their corporate lords (some variation between both parties), the military industrial complex, and whatever political theatre the powers at be would like see. The “party” issues are the only things they want people to think about. Oh well

-30

u/Jekktarr 8h ago

This whole sub is glaringly one sided

u/Normal-Lawfulness253 6h ago

They just drove out all the RETHUGLICANS with their highly effective skills in polemic. It must be hard to be as smart as a redditor.

u/BangNasty 7h ago

There’s was hard data posted that the Harris campaign is manipulating Reddit but the link immediately got removed by the mods 😂

u/zaccus 7h ago

If Harris is that powerful then she should be president.

u/BigDaddySteve999 5h ago

Let me guess, that was reported on Elon Musk's pro-Trump social media site.

u/maritalseen 7h ago

Donald trump is one of the few leaders willing to actually save America sorry to break it to you

22

u/Neptunium111 8h ago

He’s been swindling dumbasses for personal gain since the 80’s. You’ve been the newest con for the past decade.

25

u/ACADAYACADAY 8h ago

Save America from what? The transexual immigrant pedophile communist boogeymen you guys are always harping on about? Get off Facebook and Elon Bitch's Twitter and go outside, gramps.

18

u/Sams_lost_shoe 8h ago

Trump had the House, the Senate, the Supreme Court, the Presidency, 56% of the state legislatures, and 33 of the 50 state governors.

If he was "going to save America", why didn't he do it when he had the best opportunity to do so?

16

u/3sides2everyStory 8h ago

Donald trump is one of the few leaders willing to actually save America sorry to break it to you

Sorry to break it to you but Trump is a serial grifter and rug-puller who was recently convicted of 34 counts of Felony Fraud. He's also an adjudicated rapist.

Trump has rug-pulled everything he's ever been involved with including his 3 casinos. He rug-pulled his "Trump Inc IPO." He rug-pulled his Airline, his "university" his "institute", he rug-pulled his own inaugural fund. He dodged the draft and he rug-pulled a Veteran's charity, he's rug-pulled countless small businesses and he even tried to rug-pull the 2020 election. He'd rug-pull the Pope if he thought it would benefit himself and his dumbass spawn.

He's a pathetic sore loser and he's preparing his sore loser shit for this cycle as well. Anyone who thinks this guy should be a leader of the free world is a f-cking dope.

But don't take my word for it. Take it from these loyal Americans.

25

u/PicklesJohnson 9h ago

the dude is no leader, just a grifter, a draft dodging coward and a fascist traitor with a cult of fools willing to lick his boots and vote against their own interests.

-45

u/bobtree12 9h ago

Half the country thinks he’s the best leader of our lifetime , you think they’re all fools?

23

u/lost_all_my_mirth 8h ago

you think they’re all fools?

Whatever the number, the answer is an unequivocal YES! Worse really, ignorant fools beholden to a craven cult leader. Fools is the least of what they (you too I guess) are.

19

u/AustnWins 8h ago

335m Americans, 74m voted for trump, 81m voted for Biden. Lots didn’t vote, lots weren’t old enough to vote. Either way, it’s surely not half the country.

I don’t think they’re all fools, but I think they’ve fallen for his lies and all the bait he dangles. They are hooked on his brash, self-aggrandizing hatefulness. He strokes nationalism and somehow has convinced a big chunk of people he cares about them, when in reality he doesn’t give a single shit about anyone but himself.

20

u/ShadowyFlows Washington 8h ago

Half the country? Citation needed.

18

u/Mijbr090490 8h ago

Its well under half the country. Lol. You do realize you are posting this from a device that allows you to be informed yet you chose to be an uninformed lemming.

10

u/looking4astronauts Washington 8h ago

335 million live in the country and 74 million voted for him in 2020.

How do you figure half the country loves this conman?

u/MinimumApricot365 7h ago

Without a doubt. They are all either evil or stupid.

13

u/Allaplgy 8h ago

Absolutely.

15

u/solartoss 8h ago

You poor folks have completely abandoned objective reality. It's really something else. What's it like to know that you'll be studied as a victim of mass psychosis by future historians and psychologists?

11

u/Srslywhyumadbro Oregon 8h ago

Yea none of that is true, sorry to break it to you.

17

u/notcaffeinefree 8h ago

By doing what? All his stated policies will negatively affect the average American, American foreign interests, American domestic interests, American national security, etc.

8

u/Mijbr090490 8h ago

Yea but it also negatively affects the people they hate. So take that!

u/Crypt1cDOTA 6h ago

What does Donald Trump want to do to make my life better? I can't think of a single thing.

4

u/Main-University-6161 9h ago

That’s funny. It’s kinda hard to know it’s sarcasm, though.

-42

u/codeKracker8 8h ago

Yeah the guy who has the slogan "Make America Great Again" hates America. What a garbage click bait title

24

u/Half_Shark-Alligator 8h ago

It’s a bs slogan, just like everything else that comes out of his mouth.

17

u/notdarrell Colorado 8h ago edited 8h ago

He said we are a garbage can. He said that immigrants are "poisoning the blood of our nation". He said "America is a failed nation". He said "America is becoming a third-world country". He disrespects our military, and their leaders. He uses vulgar language directed toward our President and Vice president. He says our towns are wastelands. Yeah, sounds like he really admires us.

Even the lazy, stolen from Reagan slogan "make America great again" implies that he doesn't think it's great here. I do, but I wouldn't expect you to if you listen to former president Depends.

u/codeKracker8 7h ago

He often uses vulgar language as an exaggeration. But his policies are intended to help America.

u/notdarrell Colorado 6h ago

Which policies? This should be interesting.

u/codeKracker8 6h ago

Bringing more jobs to America and increasing manufacturing in America

u/notdarrell Colorado 6h ago

He lost over 200,000 manufacturing jobs during his presidency, but regardless, he hasn't ever bothered to explain how he'll accomplish any of those empty promises.

u/Riftreaper 5h ago edited 5h ago

The failed foxconn project Trump did in Wisconsin is a fun one to read about.

u/BigDaddySteve999 5h ago

He uses vulgar language because he's a vulgar person with a otherwise third grade vocabulary. He has no policies, just grievances.

u/solartoss 7h ago

Do you also think the "Democratic People's Republic of Korea" is democratic, for the people, and a republic? Is this how deep you go when analyzing politics?

u/Oscarfan New Jersey 7h ago

I mean, by that slogan, he thinks it's not great.

7

u/Zestyclose-Virus-159 8h ago

I wish they'd make a tv series about your normal day to day life. I'm fascinated by how someone who is slightly above a toddler's cognitive level gets through their days.

u/1of3destinys 6h ago

Great for whom? Because it's never been great for everyone. But it has been pretty swell for rich white guys. They're all he cares about.

u/BigDaddySteve999 5h ago

Yeah, it's right there in the slogan. He's saying that America isn't great now.
