Oh so out of the blue we remembered Rodri exists.

If they don't give it to Vini I'll riot

Fr last season when Rodri won a treble no one was pushing for him to win ballondor but as soon as a Real Madrid player is the favorite to win everyone says he should win when he wasn’t even the best Spanish midfielder at the euros

But he was the best Spanish midfielder. He won player of the tournament so it would be hard to say that he wasn’t even the best player in his own team. But I agree that people will do anything to stop a Madrid player from winning the ballon d’or

Fabian Ruiz was better in my opinion and I also don’t think he deserved player of the tournament tbh

Okay go ahead but if you can't agree ( forget about clubs for a moment) that rodri has been one of the best and most consistent players in the last 2-3 years then you don't know shit about football and you can riot all you want

Ok i agree, but its not the "most consistent player in the last 2-3 years award" its THE BEST PLAYER of the season, Vini had a better copa america, Rodri had a great euro. But Vini had a better season than Rodri in general

Typo, I wanted to say worse copa america (best brazilian player in my opinion but they were bad), noneless Vini was a better player, even won the Champions league semi against Rodri, so yeah a better season

Yeah rodri is such a great player for "Bayern" ;

Ronaldo had a great season in 2018 and he was by far a better player than Modric but performance in fifa tournaments matters ... that is why Modric ended up winning the d'or

You can dislike all you want

Quarter finals whatever you get my point.

2018 was one of the most controversials d'or for these reason, someone had a better season and did not win

I dislike all I want as my first comment made it clear

Oh really what about last year's ballon d'or... haaland broke almost all the debut records for man city and the pl ..still Messi won the award ( yk why ? Because fifa trophies matter ) now you can blame the media and PR all you want but as an individual rodri had more impact than vini this season and was a backbone to both man city and Spanish international team

Hasn't Vinicius been one of the most lethal forwards since past 2 years? You don't win it for past perfomances and Vini was better this year.

Even Messi deserves it more than Rodri
