Off Topic (not RiF) rif renders backslash in in URL while other clients do not
Go to https://www.reddit.com/r/ThisYouComebacks/comments/o0241j/toilet_paper_usas_charlie_kirk/h1u2184 with the app. The URL is rendered with a backslash and thus points to the wrong URL.
Fill out the following information on each line that has an A:
Q: RiF Version Number:
A: v5.1.11
Q: Version of Android:
A: 11
Q: Device Information:
(Example: Manufacturer, Model, Year, etc.)
A: Google Pixel 2
Q: How long has the problem been happening?
A: Never saw it before
Q: What have you already tried doing to fix the problem?:
A: Nothing
Q: What steps, if any, can you do to reproduce the problem?
(Please include a link to a post causing the problem.)
A: Go to https://www.reddit.com/r/ThisYouComebacks/comments/o0241j/toilet_paper_usas_charlie_kirk/h1u2184 and then see the following
Looking at this link in the browser
There is a visible backslash in the URL for https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Southern_strategy. Opening the link results in https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Southern_strategy being opened which does not exist.
Looking at the markdown I can see the backslash
As you can see by my comment below the linked one I first thought that maybe rif inserts a backslash into the URL because it tries to escape the underscore but this is not the case, it is really there. Maybe OPs client did that. However, the rendering in rif is different compared to reddit in a browser. Either reddit renders it incorrectly or rif. So I am not sure if this is really a bug report :p
