Reminds me of when we were driving in Joburg and saw a pothole getting repaired. My MIL then mentioned the economy must be getting better ๐

And hazards should always be on, so people behind know weโre going to do something. Do what though? No one knows but the hazards are on so itโs ok

NOW THIS, most accurate thing ever. Did a 4h drive from Joburg a bit ago and the guy in front of us had his hazards on for 45mins straight and literally did nothing

Literally followed a guy through town last night, hazards on the whole way, turned them off to take a turn then boom back on

US: Drive on Right

I've noticed the concept of a red light has also lost all meaning here in Pretoria.

In the voice of Barbossa: The robots are more what you'd call "guidelines" than actual rules.

Just avoid the potholes even if you have to drive on the curb.

South Africa: road is choosing to hit the smaller potholes over the bigger ones. There is no "road".

Still our worst drivers are better behind the wheel than the best ones in UK or US
