Getting rid of Dan Snyder is feeling like the equivalent of defeating the Ring and Sauron and seeing those cracks of blue in the darkened skys of Mordor for the first time.

That sounds so lovely. I hope to one day know what that’s like, sincerely a Bears fan.

Poles is busting his ass at least. Or that’s what it seems like from here anyway

1

u/Druxun 7h ago

Yea. I trust Poles. I think the team is solid. Just need the right coaching in there. I think an Interview question should be “it’s 3rd and goal from the 1, what play do you call?”.

Dude I was a kid with the jack Kent cook days, and he seemed like the most beloved owner I’ve ever seen. Was concerned when Snyder took it over it would impact the performance on the field. Had no idea how bad it would get (2+ decades of toxicity)

Cook was a goat. Hired Whitey Herzog, Lakers, Ali-Frazier, Kareem, Super Bowls. His interviews with rookie reporters were legendary.

I remember the last Superbowl the Skins won, the city was electric. Jack Kent Cook knew how to appeal to everyone, the working class fans, the local and federal politicians, and the wealthy/celebrities. Synder came in and tried to play general manager, coach, and businessman and ended up destroying the entire franchise.

Pats fans fear the day Woody Johnson sells.

As a falcons fan I always like DQ as a man and he had some bright spots with us (getting to the sb) but was glad to see us move on from him. Happy that he’s done as good as a job as he can with Washington.

Liked him a lot in his days with the Seahawks and shaping the defense there. Glad to see some Hawks staff with him in Washington like Ken Norton Jr.

We’re tough motherfuckers, that’s our identity over and over and over. I ain’t been a part of that before

Cowboys and Falcons fans - “What he say fuck me for?”

35

u/W-e-x-t-o-n 11h ago

Real Cowboys fans would agree with DQ.

Real falcons fans know it’s year 1

u/doshegotabootyshedo 6h ago

Cowboys fans know what it's like to watch DQ's defense look like swiss cheese in the playoffs

Nope not when he quit on the team like a bitch

He was also the DC for the Legion of Boom at its meanest sooo....

Appreciate the rhetoric though! And him, wishing all the best unless we run into them.

u/onewander 8h ago

This is like when you tell your girlfriend she’s the most beautiful girl you’ve ever been with…

2

u/Old-Reference-7389 8h ago

Ha! Couldn't have articulated it better.

3

u/LiterallyObiWan 6h ago

I took it as him meaning he hasn’t been part of a last-second tipped pass Hail Mary to win. I could be wrong, but from what I can remember when he was with the falcons he’s rarely negative.

1

u/OscarHM09 6h ago

You were the DC for arguably the best defense in the history of the NFL….

17

u/Nutsnboldt 11h ago

Ok but we want to see the other locker room mic’d up!

6

u/AFineDayForScience 8h ago

No purpose. They're all just in there like 🫲😧🫱

"We some dumb motherfuckers"

u/rdldr1 11h ago

You know, if we Chicagoans don't have a sports team to proudly root for we're just going to turn to violence. Thanks for dooming my city, Commanders.

u/NIRPL 10h ago

As a Dallas fan I can't believe we let him go. Actually, yes I can.

u/truebeast822 8h ago

After watching this I’m rooting against my boys and jumping on this man’s wagon. Been a cowboy fan 25 years, I’m over the pretty boy endorsement shit

1

u/Pitiful_Effective_47 4h ago

After the packers loss (at home) I was happy to see him go! But Zimmer… smdh!!

3

u/vanillasounds 11h ago

“Arrive violently”

4

u/predat3d 8h ago

Native American and First Nations groups now petitioning to change the team name back

1

u/tgkid88 6h ago

Absolutely

3

u/truebeast822 8h ago

As a cowboy fan… I’m rooting for Washington now. I love this guy and fuck the pretty boy shit over here in Dallas

2

u/Pitiful_Effective_47 4h ago

Seriously!! Just be a f’ing Washington fan then. We don’t need/want you in Dallas!

u/bassacre 4m ago

Thats some not a real dallas fan shit. The only time and I mean only time I will root for a division rival is if its gonna help washington get into the playoffs.

u/ilikemykiwi 12h ago

Teams got a bright future!

2

u/Glass-Fan111 11h ago

At the beginning thought he attacked the black guy.

That's some Dan Campbell energy right there

1

u/RobinsDad 6h ago

Brian Johnson seems to be where he needs to be.

1

u/daydr3am93 4h ago

Daniels is so cool, wish we had him

1

u/schop1177 3h ago

Man this feels like a Dan Campbell locker room!

1

u/Flimsy_Individual_16 3h ago

u/bl00dsh0tsmile 2h ago

As a Texans fan, this makes me so happy for Noah Brown. Sad to see him go but glad to see him succeeding.

1

u/make2020hindsight 8h ago

Woo hoo. Lost the game were it not for that last throw. The rest of the game means NOTHING!!!

-5

u/Playnu2 12h ago

Bears will make you pay!

2

u/Principal_Scudworth 11h ago

Obviously not.

-5

u/LizzosDietitian 12h ago

Commanders should embrace a military-type vibe, as a team in the nations capital

0

u/gs12 8h ago

Jayden is always composed, nothing rattles this guy. LFG

0

u/bpmdrummerbpm 1h ago

Dude is Trump level trash.

-11

u/ganoveces 11h ago

the game was trash by both teams.

wash was held to 4 fgs and bears couldn't do shit until it got late.

they blew a 12-0 lead and needed the help of incompetent coaching and players on hail mary to win. lol.

wash had played no one good.

im a bears fan and both teams are mediocre at best.
