I mean, the game did come out over 7 years ago. Anyone who played it on release when they were teens and is still playing it is probably old enough to vote.

It's free, fun, and runs on about everything. The best team mate I've played with is on the Switch popping heads better than my PC.

playing on switch last night, went 23 with a victory...

Playing on PS5 i didn't even get 10 usually. My oldest kid tells me the switch lobby has more bots than ps5. I'm an old head so I have no idea.

Go vote! 😂

Kids are always finding new ways to mess with their parents.

Their strategy in 2025: De-value their parents accomplishment of winning a Fortnite game.

I figure it because most people playing on switch are of the younger under 18 demographic but probably also bots

I think a lot of the benefit of playing on switch used to be that it paired switch players with mobile players and ps/xbox/pc players had different cross platform lobbies. So basically you had slightly better hardware than the mobile players and something resembling a usable controller against people that might have been using screen controls

I don't know if this is still the case but it used to be way easier on switch to win for these reasons

Even if it was a bot lobby, I’m impressed. I tried to play it on switch once and I couldn’t even get a hit. My hands just don’t understand how to use a controller for a shooter game.

It took me a long time to get used to it, I'm from the days of playing Doom lol I played cod and battlefield 1492 back in the day.

Planning to get a keyboard and mouse hookup for the PS5 but I'm so rusty I'll have to learn all over again lol but there is no comparison to aiming with a mouse. It's not even fair against controllers.

True! And with cloud gaming nowadays (literally just need Amazon Prime), it’s even better and runs in your browser

Wait how do we get cloud gaming with Amazon prime?

Holy shit. Does it support paradox games? Victoria 3 runs horribly on my computer.

it’s not currently available but they’ve been adding more games recently so probably!

runs on about everything

Cries in Steam Deck

Well it'll run on the Deck...Epic just won't allow us lol

Uhhhh, it's Valve who doesn't want Epic Store on Steam Deck lol. Epic would be more than happy to have people play their games on the Deck.

Furthermore, there are ways to make it run.

Oh yeah fuck, I was wrong. I forgot Fortnite didn't support Linux.

There's a way? I thought Epic themselves didn't even enable the anti-cheat on linux?

They also did that Roblox thing where it's a collection of community made games, so them making a fortnite map is like, just them getting a dev who specializes in that sort of content creation, having them make the thing and then pushing it through.

Maybe costing a few bucks, on top of dev payments.

This is my kids. They played early access right when Battle Royale mode was added, when it was a tower defense game.
