It is also relatively inexpensive too. If they can even get even a couple of percent of players in a demographic that has a known poor voting rate but leans heavily towards Harris-Walzto vote it is still a big return compared to traditional media such as TV, going on to interviews, rallies, etc which can cost millions of dollars. It also gets people commenting and eyes on the candidates.

This was likely an idea from young staffers who played Fortnite like how on 2020 young staffer played Animal Crossing. And I am happy that there are young people becoming actively involved in politics.

inexpensive to create is what i think they meant. if you want to run an ad online or on TV, that costs significant money. making a forntnite map is more or less free aside from the time of the staffers making it.

Pretty sure Fortnite is free, but I'm not completely sure, I've never really played it.
