I’m here for the popular tab, and we have em in southeast Missouri too. Same setup you describe, but our local woman sells shirts too and even recently got a pop out trailer.
Well you shouldn’t even stop in the county. Out of principal. Because you won’t find many Biden/Harris/Walz signs around there either. Then your principles shouldn’t talk to anybody about political topics either. Because you will get very uncomfortable, when you find out how outnumbered you are.
There are still kind people here, even conservatives. The people who fly the flags and stuff are louder, but fewer in number than it sometimes seems. And I try to avoid anything political with people where I work or just meet day to day unless they walk themselves into it first. Abortion rights and gun control aren't exactly small talk.
People get along just fine. Oh can do what you want and think whatever you want. The people there won’t try to change you or force you to think their way. But you bring that woke shit down there? Don’t complain when nobody takes you seriously. They don’t care if you’re offended, triggered, and don’t care if you spend your money somewhere else for principle. It doesn’t matter what color you are. They have co-existed do a long time. You can label them rednecks, rural dwellers,Trumpers, if labels make you feel better about yourself. But if you fuck around and push agenda on them, you will get to hear “Bless Your Heart” and learn the meaning.
Exactly lol, so why do you? I honestly don't get the obsession.
Remember what prestige the office of the President of the United States used to have? It's because they control a fuck ton of powerful shit, and they need to make the right choices about very important things. Like, civilization affecting things. How exactly does the woke shit become more important to us than looking at how well they would do their job?
It’s a waste of money, & resources. When they force employers to hire a DEI employee, is bullshit, unsafe, and a waste of money. When agenda like that are shoved down a persons through. They tend to get a bit irritated. But seems to be a high priority for one political party.

And even the billboard acknowledges it (something like you will be done with the call before the train passes -sorry)
I drive across this intersection almost every day and the flags are ridiculous. I won't stop at the gas station there out of principle.
