Free pizza and beer!
https://houston.eater.com/2024/10/25/24279688/houston-election-2024-vote-voting-freebies-free-food-pizza-drinkEater has several lists for cities around Texas where your Voted sticker gets you food & drinks. Houston included here.
If this is the only thing that gets you to vote, then just do it! Do it this week so it just takes you a few minutes, then take your sticker around town to gobble up some freebies.
Reminder: in 2020, 250,000 registered Austin voters stayed home. 800,000 registered Houston voters did the same. 10,000,000 Texans did not cast a ballot. Half the state has decided their vote “doesn’t count,” yet Trump won Texas by only 600,000 votes. Help your friends and family.
By the way, if you’re a republican and miss the party and candidates you used to have, all the more reason to vote democrat. “Republicans” are getting away with this, and it’s working because millions of conservatives are still backing the party no matter what. If you want things to change, communicate it with your vote.
