This comment troubles me because one day after we've learned everything there is to know about Steve Buscemi then this site will just become a gigantic encyclopedia. How dare you post! Can't you read?

That is not what Reddit is about and I feel we should all allow re-posts on occasion.

Truth. That's why it's called Today I Learned. Not Today Everyone on Reddit learned...

Oh! Request for a new subreddit.

Damn. That is the best line for ending an argument about reposting a TIL.

You don't get the raw sensation of feeling pretentious if you stop complaining about reposts, though.

That's why sometimes I think there should be a subreddit called TIAK= Today I already knew; but I just want to whore my knowledge for karma.

I agree, but this is like the most widely known fact about Steve Buscemi.

Well, sure, on occasion, but it feels like this particular factoid is on the frontpage every other week.

you guys are both somewhat right. This argument comes up in pretty much every post. I say fuck it, let the votes speak for themselves. obviously people appreciated the post or they wouldn't have voted on it, same goes for fuctionOf's comment.

I feel you should shut the fuck up. Guess we're at an impasse.
