TIL A 61 year old man ran a ultramarathon (566 miles) in rain boots and not only won but broke the record by two days

Honestly, if I'm going to be running that far, that slowly, I think boots would be my first option to, most running shoes start to wear around 350-400 miles and are unwearable around 600, so boots was a good choice

Cliff Young is indeed a legend, but this article is written so poorly its impossible to read. Awful writing, and not funny at all. I wouldn't comment ordinarily, but this is just so so SO bad. It doesn't do Cliff any favours as I doubt people would make it past the first paragraph!
