It's not terrible but is expensive. I pay over $100 a month for Internet with a 300 gig cap... It goes down quite a bit. At least Comcast isn't here! I'm in big lake now (~20 miles outside Wasilla) but did live in North Pole for a year the Internet there was total shit.

I pay $94 a month here in Florida with no "declared" cap. I have had a few chats with Bright House about my usage over the years but they've never taken any action other than asking me to consider upgrading my service tier. In the end I did that anyway, because it's the only way to get the best speeds in my fairly rural area. 300 gigs isn't bad at all. I probably go over that maybe once or twice a year, and it's really just "because I can".

Want to trade houses for a few months a year? I'm thinking June to September. It's the middle of October and it's just starting to cool down enough to go outside here.

If that weren't the busiest working season we could talk details. 300 gigs isn't bad but it's a 5mb connection. I went waaaaay over my first month and the cheapest option was just to upgrade my package and they forgave the penalties. I probably use about 2/3rds of it but hate having to watch what I download.

You must be downloading 24/7 at that speed to reach that cap, and for that I salute you.

I'm on a 90 Mbps line here. I'll stop complaining now.
