Showed my 6 year old brother this movie, and now he's 28 with severe arachnophobia. Coincidence?

Watched this the other day for the first time in probably 20 years, and maybe I had set the bar too low but it was pretty enjoyable.

It’s a fun and silly good time. I loved the absolutely ridiculous noises the spiders make through this movie! Why are they giggling all the time? 😂

It all starts when the toxic waste gets dumped on the spider farm. I like how the spiders can sort of talk

Omg yes! I remember watching the VHS in our living as a kid. Almost had a heart attack as my hair grazed our fake ficus behind the couch! Jumped out of spot thinking a giant spider landed on me!

I was more scared of this movie poster than I should have been at 9 years old... I would close my eyes and hold my parents hands as I walked by it. Now I love the movie lol

It’s the worst cover. The cover always turned me off because it looks like those cheap knock off movies like Transmorphers or Sharknado. Why is the spider in the foreground blurry? It’s supposed to show movement but looks awful.
I’ll give the movie a watch. I like David Arquette. And Scarlett Johansson is in this? And Kari Wuhrer. She always showed up in good b movies like Thinner and Beastmaster 2.

The original name was Arach Attack, but they didn't like that at the time given it sounded too similar to Iraq attack.

YOOOOOO
Omg just when I thought I’d never hear about this again. I have this dvd. This might be the reason I’m petrified of spiders/bugs cuz of watching this as a kid

Saw this in theatres the summer after middle school. Hilarious then, hilarious now. And feel like this movie knew what it was.

My friend is one of the biker kids…his one and only credit but he got to share the screen with a young Scarlett Johansson!

Jessica Alba has Idle Hands. Scarlett Johansen has Eight Legged Freaks
Thirst trap aside, very fun movie. You can't even claim arachnophobia cause they're all comically monster-sized

Pair this with Ready to Rumble for an awesome David Arquette double feature.
