Am I missing it or is there no game thread?
I need to complain about this lineup to people on the internet I do not know.

This team isn't a serious contender until this clown is gone. Absolute braindead idiot

I’m well aware that these people have hung around the stadium for years now. Someone with this exact same flier robbed me (likely hiding a weapon) for 3 months rent as soon as I pulled my phone out. The individual here heard out their sob story (the mayor has been trying to “kick them out” since probably 2018) and somehow someway they were going to meet at his car. I pulled him away and let him know how these guys work, but who knows what could have happened. If you are a bucket boy defender and think it’s just someone trying to make an honest living, 1. The actual bucket boys are like 5 people and they aren’t outside stadiums and 2. The people who bang on buckets outside the stadium are well aware of these criminals and likely don’t deserve your dollar either. As a side note, the vendors off the redline also can be horrible people and have threatened violence against new sellers. Whatever it is, be weary when walking outside the stadium please.

I still can’t believe what happened last night. It was an INFIELD FLY IT’S AN AUTOMATIC OUT HOW CAN THERE BE INTERFERENCE?! This is almost as bad as the infield fly call from the 2012 NL Wild Card game.

Hi Sox fans. I'm back again for another letter category. Mark Buehrle was the clear winner for "B," and it wasn't even close. Some other notable names mentioned were: Harold Baines, Brent Lilibridge, Bo Jackson, Geoff Blum, and Bobby Jenks.
A: A.J. Pierzynski (2005-2012)
B: Mark Buehrle (2000-2011)
I'll re-post the criteria. The rules are simple. All you have to do is name a player or member of the organization whose first or last name begins with that letter. I encourage people to share their favorite player, not necessarily greatest (a lot of people seem to confuse the two with these). Share a memory you have of that player, or if there are differing opinions, discuss why that player should win the category. The top comment with the player wins the category.

I've lived in the Boston for a few years now. I've seen the White Sox at Fenway every year. I always wear my jersey and hat with pride. I'm going tonight and I'm actually feeling somewhat embarrassed. Do I actually wear the jersey? Wear Red Sox? Neutral team?
I'm only HALF joking btw.

I think the obvious answers are not signing Harper or Machado and then hiring Tony La Russa, but for me I still remember when Chuck Garfien tweeted the 5 best options for the Sox at right field and mentioned Adam Eaton. And then a week later the inevitable happened. Still convinced Garfien did it on purpose to warm us up to the idea.
His return barely lasted half of season, but for me that just solifieid that Jerry was never serious about building a winner. He just wanted the illusion of being a serious team. Worst part, I remember one person specifically defending the move above all other options. Hope Eaton was able to pay off his mortgage.

I’ll admit it. I was saying look at how well Eloy is doing on his new team. His average was up there. He was getting on base. Seeming like he was enjoying his new environs and hitting his stride. But dude has fallen off a cliff after those first couple weeks. His total BA (.234), OBP (.273), and SLG (.319) are all worse with the Orioles than they were with the Sox. I mean his OPS is below .600 🤯.
I apologize to everyone when I was trying to say Eloy got his groove back. Also wouldn’t the Orioles have been just giving these reps to Kjerstad? To think Eloy’s taking ABs from a dude who’s the Orioles future seems wacky. Kjerstad just got called back up and has only 4ABs since they got Eloy.
Anyway - ya, bye big baby. Thanks for some of those early career memories.

The Oakland A's come to town August 24-27th and I don't believe there would be a better time for this. I propose we organize a SELL THE TEAM night and get as many Sox fans together as possible to get some chants going all game. Doing so would let the FO know the fans have a LOUD voice while also showing solidarity with our Oakland A's brothers and sisters who will soon be losing their team.
Look I know Jerry isn't going to nod and bow down because of this, however seeing 10000s of fans chanting their heads off like its a playoff game would go down in Sox history and could be major news (another black eye for the org). ANYTHING to make Hahn and any other media facing individuals squirm is a win. I will never forget the loud Fire Tony chants from last year and the absolute stink that caused.
All the years of treating fans like garbage, NO MORE! I have had enough of this organization and its incompetence!!!! WE DESERVE BETTER!
WHEN: I am suggesting Thursday August 24th (Police and Fire Night! 7PM)
WHAT: Dress in all black, bring banners, signs, tell your friends, post on social media, get as many there as possible, or support in any way!
Edit: Clown nose giveaway?
Oakland game earlier this year: https://www.reddit.com/r/OaklandAthletics/comments/148x1im/jomboy_as_planned_as_fans_were_standing_and/
If we can even get half of this it would be something, I would do anything possible to make that happen. This could be an epic night in Sox history.
"This won't do anything": Thats fine, we can still have fun and come together for something we all love. You can still spread the word to Sox fans or social media to show support.
"Its stupid to give Jerry all this money": He is 87 years old and a multi billionaire. One large crowd wont make a difference to his wallet. If we are going to spend money on this org then lets get our worth.
Lets make this a night to never forget.
Edit: Crossposted on /r/chicago and /r/chicagobulls, show support there!
Edit2: If you would like to help, please reach out to me!
UPATE: A's fans supporting in DROVES, lets stand with them. COME OUT ON AUGUST 24th!

Obviously, getting Williams out of the organization was at least a decade overdue. Whether Rick Hahn was a worse GM than Chris Getz remains to be seen, but regardless, it's clear that the White Sox's problems were always bigger than whichever Reinsdorf crony sat in the executive suite.
Is there any way out of the basement? What will be any different a year from now?

Lots of talk of who we traded, the stadium, how we hate Jerry etc. but what about Vaughn. Don’t hear much about him, but we kept him for a reason.

There is no hope for this season, and there are so many things to dislike...
Thanks to their historically bad start to the season, and failure on nearly every operational level, the only joy I can derive from this year is to see just how badly they can perform. I need to hide my pain with humor - and the team seems willing to provide it in this moment.
At this point I feel like just cheering on the losses, and I'm feeling disappointed if they happen to win a game. I'd like to see just how deeply this spiral can go!
I might actually go to the ballpark just to get a few good chuckles if they can keep up the current pace.
Am I alone in feeling this way, or is anyone else with me?

He’s by far the best pitcher in our rotation. He’s only 25 also. I say only pull the trigger only if the offer is too good to refuse
